Reviews

We had a sad stay here - we were a family of four, two adults and two small kids. The house was too small for a family. Much better suited to a couple or two friends. While on first look the property was nice (maybe we were jet lagged!) the stay was hindered by a number of factors. The kitchen table makes it difficult for anyone not cooking/washing up to be in there - you kind of need to sit at the table to be out of the way. The bathroom, although 'renovated' was awful and fell far below my standards. It was a super bad diy experiment! It smelt damp and not just from condensation from a shower. There was visible damp signs in the outer lobby towards the bathroom. The carpet on the stair was old and not fixed well, my husband actually fell down the stairs because of this! The kitchen chairs are cheap and nasty and one actually collapsed during our stay, we had to fit it. The pillow and duvet were not new and fresh. The house was either hot or cold! It got so warm we had to open windows in December! I would not recommend this place if staying for any period of time. For a night stop off it would work great as the location is fantastic.

We had a wonderful welcome from the owner. It was a lovely cosy cottage with a great home feel. It was in a great location near to the town and there were plenty of shops. Would stay again.

The owner was very friendly and we had a very pleasant stay in Stratford. The city centre was easily accessible from the house on foot. There was always parking outside the house. If we again spend our holiday in Stratford, then we would love to rent the cottage.

A cosy little cottage near everywhere we wanted to go.

A really comfortable and cosy 2 bed property, in the middle of a terrace, nicely refurbished and ideally placed for Stratford (an easy 10 minute walk to the town centre and the RSC). Furnishings all seem new and very comfortable. Very friendly owner, lives about 1/2 mile away. Small convenience shops only 2-3 minutes away in each direction. If you are looking for a great base for a holiday in a simple but very comfortable style, this is one of the best we have used and we would certainly go back.

The property was very clean, well maintained and with enough furniture and gadgets to make your stay very pleasurable. It was in a great position, an easy walk straight into the center of Stratfod-upon-avon and all the attractions of the town. Although the property is small, it is certainly large enough for a family of four. The only possible problem is the parking, although we were able to park along the street in front of the property most of the time, but there were times when it was necessary to park in adjourning streets.
