We had a great weekend here, really well equipped, spotless accommodation and great location. Nothing not to like!!! Second visit for us and will not be the last.

Stayed for a surprise weekend for husbands 70th birthday. House was wonderful with lots of room for all. Brilliant location. All grandchildren loved painting pots at Barbara’s (the owner) piggy pottery. Even got to throw a pot. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Thank you Barbara for all the welcome goodies you left including milk and cake. Also for making us all so welcome. Would recommend this farmhouse to any large family.

This accommodation was absolutely superb and suited our needs to a tee. Owner Barbara was extremely polite and helpful. There were eleven of us all on motor cycles taking a winter get together and finding such a welcoming site was amazing. Three of our group took the opportunity to make use o the adjoining pottery studio where we could decorate our own pots and see what an extremely talented lady Barbara is. Cannot wait to return

This farmhouse was amazing. The perfect location for the beautiful scenes of north Wales and so close to so many incredible activities. Everything in the farmhouse was clean, and plenty of utensils for all of us. Barbara was also amazingly accommodating opening up to allow us to paint at piggery pottery next door to suit our timetable of action packed fun and games to celebrate our friends 'last fling before the ring'! Plenty of parking space copious bathrooms and we were so lucky the amazing weather allowed us to enjoy the garden as well as the beautiful house. Would love to visit again. The perfect place for an action packed weekend.

Such a beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting.

Rated by Mr Jakison reviewed on 4th March 2016

Had fabulous views, lots of comfy seating areas, was warm and had a bathroom per bedroom. In easy reach of Snowdonia and the coast, with river access on the property.

Rated by Mrs Buckland reviewed on 25th April 2015

The cottage had an ensuite to all the bedrooms which worked well for us, as did the number of reception rooms. The location of the property was superb and gave us easy access to a number of places to visit. The owner was very welcoming.

Stayed at this 5 bed farmhouse for a weekend away with friends and teenage kids (14 people in total). We had a great weekend, and traveled down after work on the Friday evening. The farmhouse was comfortable and is in a great location. The farmhouse has plenty of room downstairs, plenty of hot water, was lovely and warm (we even turned the heat off at times) and decent size bedrooms - all with en-suite shower room. We took a trip down to Llanberis on the Saturday morning. The 'girls' all went into the on site Pottery Centre for the afternoon and had a great few hours painting Xmas themed pottery mementos, whilst the 'lads' went to the local pub which is 5 mins walk away. This was a great weekend at a good price.

This cottage was amazing; in a great setting, with big bedrooms, kitchen and living rooms for us all to hang out in. We might come back every year! It also had a pottery place next door run by the lady that owns the house which was lots of fun and super cheap.

Rated by Miss Dubiel reviewed on 7th October 2014

I loved the size of the property and the garden. The location was perfect for us too. The pottery was a great place to spend time with the family. The owner of the farm house was very accommodating and a really nice lady. I would love to go back as there was a lot that we didn't get chance to see.

Booked this 5 bed farmhouse for a weekend away with friends and work colleagues, a group of 9. We had such a great weekend, we travelled after work on the Friday a bit of a delay on the A5 but apart from that easy to find. The farmhouse looks impressive and a great tranquil location. Mrs Winrow was very helpful and left us a welcoming pack, which was very thoughtful. The farmhouse has plenty of room downstairs, plenty hot water and decent size bedrooms. Barbara even drove us down to Llanberis on the Saturday morning for our walk up Snowdon. We had a meal booked at the local pub which is 5 mins walk. Where we found friendly locals and a good choice of food. We decided to have a go at painting a pig at the Piggery Pottery Craft Centre which is on site. We spent a couple of hours there which we all enjoyed. We all agree that it was a great weekend and would definately return.

Rated by hjawww1 reviewed on 28th June 2014

Our group of 9 all enjoyed our weekend away. The accommodation was excellent, great location, beautiful setting and the owner was so helpful and even offered to take us to Llanberis to the start of our walk up Snowdon. She provided us with a welcome pack which was very thoughtful. We had a go at painting a pot at the Piggery Pottery on site which was great fun. Can't fault the location ,the village and accommodation. Could you please pass on our thanks to the owner for making us so welcome. We are sure to recommend the farmhouse to our friends, colleagues and family. Hope to go back soon.

This was a family holiday with a total of 8 family and friends staying. It is in a great location for exploring the northern half of Snowdonia and we had good road access to Llanberris aswell as Bedgelert and the Ogwen valley, all within a 20 minute drive. This was great for days out on the hills. The accommodation is as described on the Sykes site but I would say that the decor is looking a bit tired and worn but overall still functional. The kitchen could do with a refit as it does'nt cater easily for large groups, there is plenty of pots, pans etc but the cooker hob is next to useless as you cant fit 2 large pans on at the same time! Its a great place for active people looking for a base rather than a luxury break. The pub up the road does good food at reasonable prices. All of our party would stay here again, just wish the kitchen was a bit more user friendly.

Great base for discovering the Snowdonia area, good property for large family or friend groups. Plenty of room to spread out with each bedroom being en-suite.

Rated by Mrs Everitt reviewed on 23rd February 2014

Really disappointed with this place pictures look great on web but in reality nowhere near as good . Taking plates and pans from cupboards only to find dirty from last guests is not a good start. Water leaking through ceiling from one bedroom . Shower thermostatic valve not working so got scalding showers ( unless you are more than fifth to use as there is no more hot water available ) which is strange for accommodation for 15. We book large houses each year for new year for the last 10 years and this is way below what we expected Felt like it really needed a good scrubbing

Rated by Darencrosbie reviewed on 4th January 2014

House is very comfy, warm and welcoming.. Own entrance and parking. Ideal kitchen for entertaining and lovely conservatory with fantastic views over the countryside and mountains. The big sofa in the living room was very snug! Lovely! Barbara was around when needed and was very welcoming. We had a night in the pottery with her making pots and painting Christmas decorations which was hugely enjoyable. Great location.

Wonderful setting! Ideal property for a large group. Nice having the Piggery Pottery attached, which the children loved, young and old. Very suitable property for all ages.

Rated by Mrs Franklin reviewed on 22nd February 2010

The directions to the cottage were excellent, we came from 4 directions and everyone got there with no problems. We were greeted by the very friendly owner, who showed us around the house. Facilities were excellent, and we all looked forward to our meals overlooking mountains and glorious scenery. The rooms were good, comfortable and provided all we wanted. They had workable showers and I think the TVs worked although we did not use them, there was too much to do and see in the area. The cooker provided a challenge, but we cracked it quite quickly although this I believe is being changed to a simpler one. Th owner told us of the many walks from the door and nearby. Everyone was sad to leave but we will all be back.
