Arwelfa, Valley

We've just returned from a week at Arwelfa (2 adults plus a 14 year old son), located in Valley, Anglesey and would rate it very highly in comparison to other UK holiday cottages we've stayed at previously. The location is excellent - literally a stone's throw from the beach - ideal for early morning walks and close to other beaches like Trearddur Bay, Rhoscolyn, Rhosneigr and Newborough Forest. Additionally, there are plenty of other non-beach attractions within easy distance. The bungalow itself is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, with a nice big kitchen and all mod cons; smart HD television, 2 x fridges, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and deep freeze (latter two in the garage). The neighbours are friendly, the area is quiet and the local village plenty of amenities. I'd recommend this property very highly.

The location of the cottage was very good. The cottage was very comfortable and homely. It was good for shops and close to the beaches.

An excellent property, we enjoyed it very much and will go again.

This is the forth time we have stayed at this property, we think it should be graded a 5 star property. We find it a very relaxing place the neighbours are very friendly. We will be looking forward to going back again soon.

It was well presented clean and warm with comfortable beds. There was parking for a large car next to the front door. PERFECT!

The accommodation was extremely spacious & very comfortable. It was great being 2 minutes walk from the beach. The area was lovely & had good road links to everywhere we wanted to go. Would highly recommend it.

Valley is our favourite location on Anglesey. The property was ideally located for the local coastal park, also other places to visit.

The opportunity to walk on the Coastal Path and see something of Anglesey as it was new to us The bungalow is very comfortable and well equipped and in a quiet peaceful location.

This was the second time I have been to Arwelfa. We loved it the first time; the second time was just as enjoyable. If you want a home from home holiday, well here is the place to go. We will be returning soon.

My son is severely Autistic and is becoming familiar with the property which we have now been to 3 times and we are planning to go again twice this year.

This was the first time that I have stayed at arwelfa, and it won't be the last. An excellent self catering holiday home, and I have been to quite a few over the years,clean, warm, well equipped and in a nice location,within easy traveling distance of modern shopping facilities, ideal for exploring Holyhead, South Stack and northern anglesey.

I could not fault this holiday at all. I would highly recommend staying here to anybody.

Impossible to fault this property, a most enjoyable holiday in a peaceful location, but within a reasonable distance of decent shopping facilities.

The house was perfect. So much so I have sent the owners a thank you card (never done that before!). The beds were so very comfy - perfect at the end of a busy day sight seeing! I would definitely go back to the house and recommend it to a friend.

The property was ideal and us both being disabled gave us the advantage of having a bedroom each. The location and sea view was a bonus. We would definitely love to go back there again if our health allows us. The beds were so comfortable we did not want to get up in a morning. Once again great property.

This property was in very good condition. Situated close to numerous attractions and beauty spots with gorgeous views such as Llandudno. One criticism if I must is the TV is too small for the size of room. The furnishings were very comfortable and the King size bed a dream. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this property.

Really nice place to stay,quiet and relaxing. Everything top class,plus a lovely outside area,private. Not too far from town centre and only a short drive from Pete's burger van that sold the best take awway food ever.

We have been going on holiday to Anglesey now for many years we have stayed in a lot of holiday homes, but in my view the Arwelfa out did them all. The property was very clean and spacious in a very good location. I would have rated the holiday as a five star property.

This property is located in a quiet location. It is well equipped throughout and the beds are extremely comfortable. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Quiet, peaceful. This wonderful bungalow I would recommend to anyone, in fact I would go as far has to say its the nicest property I have ever stayed in.

Good central location with easy access to all points on the island. Really comfortable property with a pleasant feel.

Never been to Anglesey before - was impressed by the natural beauty and unspoilt countryside. Accommodation was delightful and in a lovely quiet area.

The standard of the cottage was excellent. The area was very well maintained. Lovely and peaceful and quiet.
