A beautiful home away from home, we holidayed here with our 2 young boys and can’t wait to return. The house is such a peaceful space, and everything and more was provided for us including a lovely welcome basket. It was within walking distance of the most spectacular beach and with Dingle, Brandon and the Maherees a short drive away through spectacular scenery. Would highly recommend the gastro pub Tomasins, just down the lane from the house. They do fantastic food and a lovely Guinness I’m told! Very friendly and welcoming locals. This holiday home is a gem.

Excellent location for exploring the Dingle Peninsula. Delightful house, light pouring in. Comfortable, relaxing, spacious. A bird lovers paradise....swallows nesting in the shed. Saw a variety of garden birds. Lots birdlife on nearby Lough Gill. Loved the underfloor heating and the very welcome hamper on arrival.

Great two weeks spent in Stradbally. We really enjoyed staying in Finn house. The location, views and facilities were outstanding. The house is located in a perfect position well off the main road in what seems like a secluded spot but is still so close to Dingle via the Conor pass and Tralee. The local beach is an extremely beautiful walk away approx 1 mile from the house. You could drive the scenic route to Ince beach (which allows vehicles) or go to the Maherees but in our opinion Stradbally strand (local beach) was far superior to either of these. Upsides: White sand, beautiful views and great waves, Downsides: no lifeguard and very limited parking but these comes with the territory. Wanted for nothing in the house and the owners were very friendly and helpful in every way possible before the trip and after we arrived. The local pub/restaurant Tomásíns serves a varied menu and the food was of a very good quality and the craic was mighty. Highlights of the trip were Stradbally strand, South Pole Inn, Conor pass and the Corrie lakes in the area, Tomásíns, Slea head and Dunquin, Paidi O’Se’s in Ventry and the Aquadome in Tralee on the rainy days. If you want a holiday home that feels firmly in a community with all the comforts of home and way to much to do in one area then this is for you.

We were a family group, comprising 4 adults and 2 teenagers. I can honestly say we liked absolutely everything about this house. It was so comfortable and the owner had thought of everything. It was also warm and welcoming and well equipped. It was a pleasure to stay here and I would thoroughly recommend it to anybody with no reservations.

Delighted with this super house in lovely location. Very clean, modern and comfortable, and well designed so that even a party of 8 and one dog were not cramped or on top of each other. Plenty of kitchen supplies and crockery for 8, and the welcome pack was a very nice touch. Owner was very helpful with information on the appliances and general info on the area and things to do. Only very small suggestions to make - perhaps wifi if available in the area, even at an extra charge? Also, a vacuum cleaner to help with keeping the house clean would be great for guests. Cannot fault the property overall and would definitely recommend to anyone, particularly those with kids/larger family groups. Would stay there again.

A large, bright, spacious house which was equipped beyond necessary and a short walk from the beach or to the hills. The owners could not have been more helpful and were naturally friendly. It was very good value.

We found Finn House to be very warm with underfloor heating and an open fire. It contained big bedrooms, all of which had a bathroom/shower. The location was lovely being approximately one mile walk to a superb beach and the owners were welcoming.

I strongly recommend this house for its cosiness and comfort, its convenient and scenic setting and for the attention to detail in making it a lovely retreat for couples and families. One of the nicest houses I have stayed in in Kerry.

Beautiful and cosy house in an excellent location with superb views of the sea. Easy walk to the beach and pub. The fire was lit when we arrived and it was easy to keep burning, the welcome pack was very thoughtful. There was nothing missing in terms of the comfort of this well designed house.

Wonderful property in a great location on the Dingle Peninsula. The level of the finishes and furnishings was exceptional. We had a great week there with family. Nearby pub - Tomasin's - was a delight - friendly and very good food.

We were a party of 7 (two couples, three children) and this property was perfect for us. There are two double bedrooms, and each bedroom had its own en suite. The property was set back from the road so it was very private, quiet and safe. It had magnificent views of both the sea and the mountains. The garden was beautifully maintained and the children loved playing in it. It was only a 20-30 minute walk to the closest beach.

The Finn House was a delight to all of us. It was well maintained inside and out, and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home the minute we opened the door, and the surrounding area was easily accessible. The home was everything that we hoped it would be. The scenery was breathtaking, and the experience was a once in a lifetime stay in the South West of Ireland. If we ever come this way again, this will be the place where we stay! We give it a five star recommendation.

We loved the fact that the house supplied everything to make you feel at home. The surroundings and views were amazing from the house. Everything ran smoothly from getting on the ferry, to finding the house, to coming home! Would definitely go again, and will recommend to family and friends!

Rated by Mrs Wilson reviewed on 2nd September 2013

It was the best equipped holiday house we have ever been in, down to the last detail and even small details. There was plenty of space for a family of all ages, from grandparents to grandchildren. One could find their own quiet corner without feeling cut off from everybody else.

Rated by Mrs Dalton reviewed on 6th August 2013

We had a fantastic week in the house at Easter 2013. The owners of the house were there to greet us when we arrived and gave a quick tour of the house and demo of the various functions (heating systems etc). The house itself is fantastic and has been very well done out, and the location is really beautiful. The pictures on the website don't do the place justice at all! We'll definitely be back for sure!
