What a fabulous place to spend Christmas with the family. Lodge has everything you could wish for and more. Home from Home with Hot Tub & Log Burner on top. Fantastic few days.

We stayed with our teenagers and dog. The lodge is clean with plenty of space. Hot tub and log burner are great. It’s ideally situated for Exmoor National Park and surrounding towns. The beach is close by and there are loads of outdoor things to do. Minor niggles were: Towels not routinely provided for hot tub Tv in lounge is a bit small Sofa not very comfortable Would stay again.

We had both Ash and Hazel lodges which are next door to each other for a group of 16 of us staying over the new year. Overall the two lodges perfectly suited our needs. We managed to have all 16 of us in Ash lodge for a New Year's Eve celebration. The log burner in Ash lodge was lovely but probably required smaller logs than what was provided. You can buy more if needs be but we managed to get by on what we had. The hot tub was bigger and more modern in Ash compared to Hazel lodge. It comfortable fitted 8 people in it. Plastic cups are provided to drink in the hot tub as no glass allowed around the hot tub. There is some power supplies of you wish to take a speaker or charge a mobile phone etc whilst in it. The temperature is maintained well too ensuring it's ready to go whenever you want to jump in. We were in it pretty much all day, every day to be honest. All in all, I would defo truly stay here agin, I think the cost was £1250 booked trough Sykes website. Not bad split 8 ways over New Years. It was the same price for 2 days (New Years eve / day) as it was for the week so a no brainier staying the week. Would highly recommend and stay again!

We loved everything about Ash Lodge, it was just perfect. The accommodation was perfect for us and the surroundings were beautiful. The hot tub was the icing on the cake for us along with the friendly owners

The lodge is of a high standard and has everything you need. The outside hot tub was also a great place to relax with a drink. We saw the New Year in with a drink in the hot tub with our family!

Rated by Mr Harris reviewed on 3rd January 2016

The garden space was big and great for the kids. I like the two separate floors to give privacy and the hot tub was a bonus every evening. We did go out and explore every day but we would have been happy to stay around the lodgings on a rainy day. It was close to many attractions and places of interest.

Has a luxurious feel to whole cottage.

"Everything at Ash Lodge was great. The cottage was spotlessly clean, location was good spot to be in and near to lots of lovely places to go. Owner was very nice. Would absolutely come and stay again and recommend to family and friends."

8 of us stayed at Ash Lodge, and made full use of the facilities, including the hot tub! It was very clean, well maintained and well equipped. There was sufficient parking, lovely and cosy, and the key selling factor - the hot tub! Cant recommend it more, great value!

We could not fault Ash Lodge in any way. The owners have thought of everything, it was perfect! We would recommend this property without hesitation and will definitely return!

The property was amazing, we absolutely loved it. Very clean and can not think of anything that would make it any better. The location was great, we didn't realise it was so close to Minehead town centre which was great. The hot tub was fab, and we will definitely be booking again. Thanks for a great time.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The lodge is beautifully finished with high quality furniture and all the things you would hope to get in a comfortable home from home. The hot tub is a fantastic bonus and everything is spotlessly clean. Location wise, there are plenty of nice places and attractions to visit within a very short drive. When you look at the price if cottage holidays and see what you get here, it really is a no brainer to choose this location over many, many others.

A lovely cottage, great hot tub and it was very useful to have both a dishwasher and washing machine! VERY comfy beds.

Rated by Mrs Crouch reviewed on 23rd June 2014

We loved the peace and quiet of the surroundings and the fact that we did not hear our neighbours, as the lodges were very well spaced out. It was in a beautiful location not far from many towns and villages. So once we arrived we didn't have to drive very far. We visited Watchet, Blue Anchor, Dunster, Minehead and Porlock Weir. We had a ride on the steam train and the beaches were perfect for walking the dog.

Rated by Mrs Wheeler reviewed on 6th June 2014

Very high quality accommodation with everything you could want or need. Owners go out of their way to ensure you have the best of everything from high quality furnishing to providing essentials for self catering. Well located and cannot recommend highly enough.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Managed to book Ash Lodge over New Year period and had a superb celebration. The lodge meant we could all have a great time together. The set up means you are all together all the time which is fantastic, plus the hot tub is great as well! New Years Eve I sat in it until 4am!!!

Lovely location, plenty of tourist stuff. Easy to get to a beach, or a lovely long walk. Owners very friendly and helpful. Brilliant hot tub. Lodge very clean and well equipped.

Rated by Mrs Hobdon reviewed on 11th October 2013

Stayed here with my wife, daughter, her partner and granddaughter. We slept upstairs in annex where we could make coffee before morning hot tub use. Our daughter, partner and the baby slept downstairs, The accommodation was handed over really clean and tidy. After arrival Lloyd arrived and explained a few details and how to use the hot tub. Dish washer was really useful as was the washing machine with a six month old baby. We could also buy free range eggs at the entrance gate. Local shops were about a mile away as were a few local pubs, Very close to Dunster castle and village which is a nice day out. Nothing to fault.

The accommodation was perfect for 2 families. We found the hot tub relaxing after a day out with 2 lively toddlers. There were plenty of places to visit without driving for miles too.

Excellent clean accommodation, with good car parking at lodge. The hot tub was fantastic, very clean, and we were impressed that the tub was checked every morning.

The location of the lodge was very private and the standard was excellent. Nothing was forgotten and the small details always make the difference.

What a find. we were lucky enough to be the first people to stay in this brand new lodge. The on site owner catered for all our needs and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our stay was perfect. The lodge was in an excellent condition with everything you needed for your stay, little touches such as the washing machine and play station came in very handy. We were with another family and the 1st floor living area made sure that each family had their own privicy and independancy as there was a separate kitchen upstairs. I highly recommend a stay at this lodge to anyone and will be looking forward to booking a return again this year.
