Lovely property in a beautiful area. Very quiet village but well placed for visiting surrounding villages and Ludlow. The property was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a break away. Thoroughly enjoyable week and hope to return.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting.

Rated by Mr Taylor reviewed on 30th July 2016

Spent an enjoyable week here with some good friends, weather was very hot (perhaps too hot). The cottage is in a quiet spot but it only takes 10 minutes to drive into Ludlow. The owners are more than helpful if there is anything you need. There are some good walks to go on if you are feeling energetic. All in all very good holiday.

A fantastic cottage with excellent facilities. Really good quality and very clean. A great base to be in for the area. Although next to the owners property we appreciated the privacy we were given. Great fire and much needed on cold nights!

We were pleased with our choice and have booked again for the 2016/17 New Year period. This will be our fourth visit to this particular property. As with all our visits, we were very pleased to see the owners.

This is the best cottage we have stayed in. It has been renovated and fitted out to a very high standard and is spotlessly clean, very spacious and comfortable. The area is really quiet and is surrounded by gardens and farmland with lovely views over the fields. We highly recommend this holiday accommodation.

Rated by Mrs Palethorpe reviewed on 27th September 2015

This is the best cottage we have stayed in. It has been renovated and fitted out to a very high standard and is spotlessly clean, and very spacious and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful and live in the house next door. There is also another holiday accommodation in the same yard but The Cider Mill has its own parking for two cars right outside the front door and so has no interference from other guests. The area is really quiet and is surrounded by gardens and farmland with lovely views over the fields. Although there was no pub or restaurant in the village it is only a short drive to nearby pubs and Ludlow is 10 mins away by car and a supermarket / petrol station about 5 mins away. Wifi is available in this property. We highly recommend this holiday accommodation.

The cottage was superb, everything about it was excellent quality. Had a good heating system - set appropriately for time of year. All fixtures and fittings were good quality and there was plenty of cooking equipment! It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We're looking forward to returning later in the year.

A beautiful restoration and furnishing of The Old Cider Mill by the owners. The cottage was warm and welcoming for our winter break. The owner was friendly & helpful and the location was within easy reach of towns and a number of visitor attractions in South Shropshire. We had a relaxing and superb three day break, made all the better knowing that we had a superb cottage to return to after days out in the very cold January weather.

This is the best-equipped holiday cottage we have ever rented. It is very comfortable and in a wonderful location. It provides easy access to Ludlow and surrounding areas, with plenty of interesting places to visit in Shropshire and Herefordshire. The owners/hosts are lovely and friendly. We enjoyed watching the calves which has just been let out into the field for the very first time and spotting the local foxes in the early evening as they made their way across the fields behind the cottage.

The property was beautifully restored, and tastefully furnished with everything we could have possibly needed and more, it was great to have all linen and towels provided, so we did not need to worry about it. There were clear instructions for all appliances and a useful guide to the local area.

Rated by Rev Slater reviewed on 8th September 2013

Everything in the cottage was great. Internet access was also brilliant. Everything you could possibly want was supplied. The only downside for us was the lack of eating places - you needed a car, the local pubs were not up to much - so we chose to eat in.

Rated by A FlipKey verified reviewer reviewed on 21st August 2013

Lovely accommodation, we were very comfortable during our stay. The outside seating area was good and we were lucky enough to have the good weather to be able to enjoy it!

A truly superb conversion of the old barn in a wonderful rural setting.

Rated by Mr Keeley reviewed on 24th June 2013

On arrival, the owner greeted us immediately (lives next door). Explained history of the Mill and gave us a brief rundown of amenities etc. If we experienced any problems, he was only next door and would sort things out. the property was immaculate; beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated - cant think of anything we required which was not there! We could quite happily live there. Mill situated on small hill with beautiful views. Very quiet, with Ludlow and other attractions close by. Loved it.

Rated by David Keightley reviewed on 20th June 2013

The cottage itself was not only comfortable but also so well equipped. The additional touches of things like tea, coffee, toilet rolls etc. Made it feel like home-from-home rather than just a rented space. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Rated by Ms Gundry reviewed on 17th June 2013

Had a short break at The Cider Mill in March 2013, on the weekend we had the heavy snowfall! Arrived quite late due to weather and the owner gave us directions to the property and waited outside for us. The property itself was stunning. A great mix of traditional old beams etc, along with modern interior. Everything you could wish for is supplied, we even had a couple of bottles of cider left for us. The surrounding area has plenty of places to visit, definitely go to Ironbridge as it is the most beautiful place. All in all, will highly recommend a stay at The Cider Mill.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting, and top marks to Sykes for your company's service.

Rated by Mrs Reed reviewed on 24th May 2013

We've only been home a week and I'm already feeling "home"sick for The Old Cider Mill. It's an 18th century building, with lots of beams in evidence, but done up in a contemporary style, with modern wooden floors (so no awkward floor levels and steps to catch you out). The living room seating, and the beds were all very comfortable. The conversion was done in summer 2012. There are wonderful views from all windows, looking out on to the glorious south Shropshire countryside, and the cottage is surrounded by fields with ancient fruit trees in them and patches of woodland.

Rated by Louise E reviewed on 23rd May 2013

The different views from each of the windows of the cottage was so lovely and rural.

Rated by Mrs English reviewed on 20th May 2013

The owner was on hand to welcome us and the property was superb. We could not have wanted more. Immaculately clean, everything we needed was there. The property has been sympathetically renovated and retains its charm. Perfect.

Rated by Mrs Maloney reviewed on 3rd April 2013
