Stayed here for a week during which my daughter got married at Birtsmorton Court. A great house for that purpose but also a lovely house in a great location so we very much hope to return to enjoy exploring the area more. Loads of space inside and out and the house is really well done.

The lodge was extremely spacious for our 3 family get together. The beautifully kept enclosed garden was perfect for the young children to play safely outdoors in the spring sunshine and was ideal for the Easter Egg hunt. The lodge is very well equipped and extremely clean. Beds and sofas are most comfortable. Showers are powerful with plenty of hot water for all of us and the super sized bath created a wonderful bath time experience for the children. Tranquil and peaceful location a truly rural retreat. If you want a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life this is the place for you.

Just returned from a pre Christmas Family Christmas :) Extended family of children grandchildren and our dog all met up for an early Christmas. Fantastic 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom accommodation, great standard of fittings and enough and more pots, pans, plates etc. together with a large double oven. Best feature was the very large dining table which could comfortably seat 10 in the very large kitchen diner. Out of the way remote quiet and tranquil. Lots of walks from the door to explore the surrounding countryside, but you do need to drive to get anywhere. We had Waitrose delivery which worked perfectly. Half a dozen pubs within 5 or 6 mile radius although we didn't try any as we were very safety conscious with Covid concerns. Room to park 4 or 5 cars on the gated driveway and so much space around the huge lawned garden. Already talking about next year.

The property and surroundings are amazing. The extensive garden includes your own private wood. A walk either way from the property give fantastic views across two different valleys. Stayed here with our extended family loved by all ages. Thanks for a brilliant holiday and amazing facilities.

We would certainly book this accommodation again and we would thoroughly recommend it to our family and friends.

Lots of space for the entire family. Big communal areas plus an outside area. Very quiet and peaceful yet not too far from nearby towns.

What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were comfortable, well equipped and spacious. The setting was beautiful and the kids loved the cows and seep in the field surrounding us. My only negative point is that we weren't able to stay longer!! Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

We couldn't fault Beesoni Lodge. It's a lovely roomy house with quality decor and furnishings with absolutely everything you could possibly need. We were able to arrange to take a second dog on request and had a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this place.

Rated by Mrs Penfold reviewed on 29th February 2016

This was a panic choice after a previous booking fell through at the last moment, but ultimately couldn't be happier that this was the case. Considering there was less than a day's notice before arrival, both the owners and agent were speedy and efficient with the booking, and the lodge was in immaculate condition when we arrived. The lodge is more spacious than the photos suggest, decent parking for multiple cars, and the kitchen comes equipped with pretty much everything you need - particularly love that there was almost a whole cupboard devoted to gravy boats! The Jacuzzi bath is thoroughly recommended, and in the grip of winter the underfloor bathroom heating was amazing. Be warned though - if you're tempted to go for a walk in the direction of what look like small lakes in the distance, you might actually just find yourself wading knee-deep in flooded fields...thank God for the laundry facilities!

A lovely large property which contributed to making our first family Christmas in two decades such a wonderful experience. It had helpful pleasant owners who sorted out any issues but left us to our own devices to enjoy our time.

Wow! Everything we needed in the kitchen, more than enough utensils/crockery etc. Comfy beds, comfy sofas, lovely fluffy towels, a very very relaxing place to be. Thoroughly recommended.

The property was well equipped and clean. Lovely large kitchen with big table which was a great place for everyone to congregate. 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 2 with twin beds. Spa bath was very nice addition. Good size lounge with plenty of seating. Location was very rural and peaceful with lovely countryside, despite this was quite easy to find. Only slight complaint was their was no remote control for the DVD player so you could only play or stop and not select different options on a DVD.

Very well equipped, enough comfy chairs for all 8 adults and a very social kitchen. We all agreed it would be lovely to retrun.

This was our second visit this year to Beesoni Lodge. Since April there have already been some great improvements to the property - especially the new huge bed in the first bedroom! It was really comfortable and so big!! Also, the new pine dresser in the kitchen meant there was more room to store groceries in the kitchen drawers. As before, the Lodge was immaculate and a great place to stay! Such a lovely place to stay that it doesn't matter if the weather is bad - there is lots of room so you don't feel on top of one another if you can't go outside. That's especially important when you have two big dogs as well!
