A lovely mid-terrace holiday cottage on the edge of the Cornish village of Poughill, near Bude. The accommodation is all on the ground floor with a double bedroom with 5 foot bed, boasting its very own en-suite shower room, a living area with patio doors to the garden and shared use of a range of activities including an indoor heated swimming pool. Honeysuckle Cottage is ideal for couples all-year-round.
On the North coast of Cornwall, close to the border with Devon, Bude is a popular resort, with famous beaches attracting surfers throughout the year. Miles of golden sand await, with rockpools and a seawater swimming pool, as well as a golf course, river, canal and access to the South West Coastal Path. Within easy reach of Bude are the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Tintagel and Crackington Haven.

We booked to stay in this cottage in September 2018. We have stayed in Cornwall many times and never had a problem. Speak as you find I was always told and this place was a total disaster. It was filthy. We have dogs and are always careful and respectful of other people’s property. Whoever was there before us obviously let there dog or dogs go anywhere they liked. That said it hadn’t been cleaned. Even the bedding hadn’t been changes. The shower was clogged with hair the bins hadn’t been emptied. It was disgusting. Before people think I am a moaner I really am not. I would have come home right away had it not been for another homeowner. Hopefully things have changed
This holiday cottage was set in a perfect location with great views all around. It had all amenities and a great little garden for our dog. The indoor swimming pool was an added bonus. Excellent pool and changing rooms, great walk in showers. Five minutes from Bude. Overall a perfect place to stop. Highly rcommended. We've booked a third time next year.
The grounds and gardens are clean and tidy. There is also a nice swimming pool and small games room on site. Overall we had a great holiday, even the weather was good.
A lovely cottage set in a beautiful location within easy reach of towns, beaches and coastal walks. The cottage had everything I needed and they had thought about the small things. The swimming pool was a fabulous bonus. We would recommend and already have given the name to friends to stay there.
This was our second time at Honeysuckle. Just loved the home from home feeling. Had everything you could ever want for all ages - plus the dog. Will be going back soon. Site feels secure and very welcoming.
The cottage was in a lovely position on a really good site, and even though we were aware of young children on the site it did remained quite peaceful. In the cottage there was ample room for just the two of us and it was very homely with plenty of facilities. I booked the cottage mainly for the indoor pool and it did not disappoint. It was clean, warm and was never full so we were able to swim freely.

The pool was a great addition, overall the cottage was fab.
The patio in the garden was a nice feature and the shared pool was excellent! The bench in the front of the cottage was a pleasant extra which meant we had the sun in the morning and the evening. The milk, teabags and biscuits etc. left for us on arrival were appreciated.
The Cottage was in the area we wanted it to be; close to Bude, but not in the centre. In a nice quite spot, well equipped and ideal for dogs. A real home from home. We will be booking for next year.
The location was very good, very quiet and Bude was easy to get to in the car; our 9 month old puppy loved the beach & the sea. The indoor pool on the site was very good, as were the team who looked after the site.
The cottage was a very good place to relax in being quiet and was very well equipped.
We found Honeysuckle Cottage to be clean and comfortable. Everything we might need for a weeks stay had been thoughtfully planned. Particularly appreciated was the tea, coffee and biscuits supplied on arrival. We would certainly stay again and have already recommended it to friends.
We certainly felt at home from the moment we arrived. It was lovely to have even the smallest thing supplied eg tin foil, cling film etc. It was home from home, can not praise you enough! We would like to think this could be our winter retreat home every time we want to get away from it all, thank you!
Everything was just perfect .It was our first time in a cottage and we chose it for the location and the name of the cottage. We were very comfortable and warm as it was November. Would I recommend to a friend....already have.
