Reviews

We have just stayed in the stables for a week and it could not have been any better. The cottage has everything you could need. It is very spacious and clean. The views are amazing. The cottage is located in a lovely area and close to lots of the local attractions and places of interest. We will certainly be staying there again. The chickens are very entertaining. Thanks Amanda and Craig.

Just finished a weeks stay here and can't praise this place enough. We are a group of blokes who go cycling one a year and have rented a few of this type of place over the years. This has definitely been the best so far. It is well equipped, clean, spacious and for us (needing easy access to cycle routes) ideally located. Nice quite location (apart from the sheep) has a secure lockup for our bikes and a nice view from the patio when relaxing with a beer after a days ride. The owners are very pleasant and helpful, and thoughtful too, we arrive to find milk in the fridge, plenty of tea and coffee and a lovely lemon drizzle cake waiting for us. Highly recommended, and I would certainly go back.

This was probably the best cottage we have ever rented. The accommodation was generously sized and the garden and distant views were memorable. The quality of the kitchen and utility room equipment was far higher than expected. The owner was friendly but discreet. Very highly recommended.

This cottage is in a peaceful and beautiful setting, and is well equipped and well thought out. The location makes exploring Edale and the surrounding area really easy. The photographs on the website don't do justice to the space and excellent standard of the property, especially the main bedroom. All the equipment provided was of a really high standard in comparison to other places we have stayed in. We would highly recommend this property.

The cottage was located in the most beautiful spot with hills all around! We did not need to drive anywhere to walk, and we had the most stunning walks! We loved the cottage itself, and looked forward to getting back to its warmth and comfort.
