Reviews

We are a little reluctant to write this review as we absolutely love Diggle House Farm and we don’t want word to get out as to how special it really is! We are repeat visitors to the cottage, staying as one of their first customers when it opened and again for two weeks in July 2018. Jim's Barn is peaceful surroundings and stunning views and a very warm welcome basket with fresh eggs from the farm. Jim's Barn is a comfortable, cozy cottage with washing machine/dryer facilities across the yard and it really does have everything you will need to enjoy your stay. The beauty of the surroundings is breathtaking and yet it is a working farm and stables, perfect for animal lovers. It is close to wonderful pubs and local village (and Grandpa Green's Ice Cream), and there is a Tesco Superstore ten minutes drive away in Greenfield. Nigel and Abigail have done a wonderful job making the experience eco-friendly while providing all the mod cons anyone could desire. We cannot recommend Jim's Barn enough.

The cottage was very professionally managed but what made it exceptional were the personal touches. Our stay felt personal, that we weren't just a source of income but that the owners were genuinely interested that we had a good experience. In addition to a brilliantly refurbished cottage the views were breath taking.

The views were beautiful and the peace was amazing. The family and staff were all friendly. The area has plenty to do and we would return. It was exceptionally wonderful as it was where I lived when I was 6. We brought my mother who has dementia and it brought back lots of memories.

Absolutely brilliant place - a home from home. All the little extras in the barn made it very special for the adults and children alike. Spotless, immaculate and very tasteful décor. Very, very well equipped dwelling. The owners were all very friendly. My little boy loved the toy tractor and the small farm yard. Will definitely visit again, can not fault it. Highly recommend to anyone. Lovely setting.
