A very restful property with welcoming owners who have obviously spent many years restoring the barn to an excellent standard.

Beautiful surroundings, lovely cottage. Very helpful and friendly owners.

Rated by Mrs O'byrne reviewed on 19th October 2014

The cottage was really peaceful and quiet. The surrounding countryside was really pretty and the walking potential was great. The little play area was a great idea and the children in our party really loved it. Our hosts were friendly and on hand if required but have also perfected the art of giving you plenty of freedom and space to enjoy your break. We really enjoyed our time here.

It was a beautiful place to stay; very peaceful and well equipped. The garden was particularly suited to young children.

Rated by Mrs Garnham reviewed on 8th June 2014

The cottage was absolutely spotlessly clean - in fact cleaner than I have ever experienced in a similar situation. The owners were a delight and the contents of the kitchen were very thoughtful. We managed to be quite ambitious with our catering for the whole family as quite simply we had the confidence that we would find everything we needed in order to prepare the meals. The area is of course absolutely beautiful.

Very friendly and helpful proprietors. Barn conversion of the highest quality. Beautiful situation. Areas in front and behind cottage very nicely landscaped, with lots of feeders for the multiplicity of birdlife.

Rated by Mr Wright reviewed on 28th October 2013

The setting was idyllic, and came fully up to expectations. A very quiet location, and totally relaxing. On-site owners very pleasant and helpful. The quality of the barn conversion was to a very high standard, and retained the character of the property.

Very friendly and obliging owners who gave us a very warm welcome. The property had been nicely decorated for Christmas and homemade mince pies and a bottle of wine were provided for our arrival. A beautiful area for walkers which we took advantage of.

A beautiful barn conversion, equipped with everything you could need. Huge attention has been paid to detail and the cottage was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the remote setting and loved our walks on The Long Mynd and Stipperstones.

Our second time back and it was as good as the first. The owners are great hosts and this is a great place from which to see the surrounding area.

Rated by Mrs Green reviewed on 21st April 2008

The location of the cottage guaranteed a peaceful holiday. We were able to take beautiful walks from the front door, untroubled by traffic. The cottage was easily the best equipped we have ever stayed in (in over 25 years of taking two or three cottage holidays a year!). Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.

Rated by Mr & Mrs Hutchinson reviewed on 19th February 2008

It was fantastic and the hosts were very hospitable. We're already planning our next stay at the cottage.

Rated by Mrs Green reviewed on 30th October 2007

The cottage was very cosy and suitable for children. It was good to have an enclosed space at the back for a BBQ and space in the front for our bikes.

Rated by Mrs Lindsay reviewed on 6th September 2007

Very friendly owners, who were always happy to help with any issues. Lots of extra items provided making it a real "home from home" property. Particularly appreciated the welcome card, wine and tea left out for us when we arrived.
