The cottage was really peaceful and quiet. The surrounding countryside was really pretty and the walking potential was great. The little play area was a great idea and the children in our party really loved it. Our hosts were friendly and on hand if required but have also perfected the art of giving you plenty of freedom and space to enjoy your break. We really enjoyed our time here.

It was a beautiful place to stay; very peaceful and well equipped. The garden was particularly suited to young children.

The cottage was absolutely spotlessly clean - in fact cleaner than I have ever experienced in a similar situation. The owners were a delight and the contents of the kitchen were very thoughtful. We managed to be quite ambitious with our catering for the whole family as quite simply we had the confidence that we would find everything we needed in order to prepare the meals. The area is of course absolutely beautiful.

The setting was idyllic, and came fully up to expectations. A very quiet location, and totally relaxing. On-site owners very pleasant and helpful. The quality of the barn conversion was to a very high standard, and retained the character of the property.

Swallow cottage was very cosy with real attention to detail, this made for a very relaxing stay. The play field was excellent and the children really enjoyed all the equipment that was there. We would definitely come back.

The accommodation was better than expected. Lots of local information available. Lovely countryside. Local villages closer to the property than we thought.

Wonderful well equipped cottage. Great attention to detail, lovely bedding and towels etc. Very spacious and perfect for our needs. We had quite a few visitors. Boys loved the park, play area and toys.

The location of the cottage guaranteed a peaceful holiday. We were able to take beautiful walks from the front door, untroubled by traffic.
