Reviews

We spent a week in this cottage. It is well situated just a few minutes walk from centre of Kingussie and well placed for hikes into the hills behind. The cottage is well fitted out with everything needed in the kitchen together with a comfortable double bedroom and nice bathroom. We were a couple and as another reviewer has said it might be a bit cramped for 4 although no doubt feasible. We appreciated the wood burning stove which we lit for 2 unseasonable cold August evenings, made the lounge very cosy! Owner lives next door and was very welcoming. A very good option for a couple looking for self catering near all hiking in the Kingussie/Aviemore area.

The wood burning stove and supply of wood makes this a great property. In a good location, handy to the town amenities. Had a very good range of books/maps/guide books.

The property was excellent; very friendly and helpful owners and a nice retreat from the rush of the Midlands. The wood-burning fire was lovely and the cooker and kitchen were great quality.

Lovely wee flat. Very comfy for two but woudl think four adults may be a bit cramped. (Sofa bed) in living area. All very new and modern though. Owners at hand and very friendly.
