Have just spent a relaxing week at the Cottage. The hot tub is ideally positioned for star gazing and equally lovely in the afternoon sunshine. Well equipped and such comfortable beds we all slept well including the dog in front of the glowing embers of the log burner! Great pint of Sleck Dust at the Bay Horse which is a short walk from the cottage. Places to visit Whitby, RSPB Bempton not any Puffins but plenty of Gannets and Kittiwakes! Beautiful location.

After coming to The Cottage in 2014 we had to come back again this year and will definitely be back again in 2016! Tim and Pay are extremely welcoming, the cottage is clean, cosy and beautifully appointed. The log fire is magical - our black lab loves chilling in front of it!... and the hot tub... amazing!!! Incredibly relaxing! Especially on a cold dark night... We love it here it's a real hidden gem and we highly recommend... You won't be disappointed!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The owners were really friendly and the house was just right for us, there was enough space and we didn't feel on top of each other. A great central location for Bridlington and Scarborough. We really did enjoy our weekend, wish we could have stayed longer. The hot tub was definitely the icing on the cake!

Delightful cottage, beautifully presented and surrounded by farmland. Very peaceful, rural area but good road access for days out. Facilities excellent, beds incredibly comfortable and whole place spotlessly clean. Great place for holiday, would highly recommend.

An excellent property in an excellent location. The hot tub was an added bonus. The owners (who live next door) were friendly and helpful, and pubs in the village are both dog friendly too.

Rated by Mr Muter reviewed on 21st June 2015

The owner of the cottage lives next door, they were friendly chatty people who'll do anything to help out. The cottage was a good size compared to several stayed at in the past. It was decorated to a good standard and was very comfortable. The hot tub was a terrific bonus, a soak in the evening was very relaxing. In a good location, felt quite central for places to visit, in a rural location but not too far from anywhere.

This cottage has everything you need for that home from home comfort. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and have this cottage perfect for a quiet, relaxing break away. The hot tub is absolutely fantastic, especially at night under the stars, then back inside to the wood burning fire! Stroll into the village and there are a couple of pubs serving food, or the coastline is a 15 minute drive away. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The owners were extremely pleasant and provided good Information about the local area. The setting is fairly central for exploring the coast and the East Riding and there were plenty of good pubs scattered about the area offering good food and beer.

This property is ideally situated to reach seaside, major city/town or country activities. Bridlington is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. The Cottage is very nicely furnished & laid out, and had a nice comfortable lounge area. The owners (who live next door) were very friendly and helpful. The hot tub is brilliant and an ideal way to relax later in the day. There are two great village pubs offering excellent food at reasonable prices, within easy walking distance, and the location is nice and quiet. A great base to go out for the days, but also a nice place to relax in the evenings if you want to. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

I think the owners of this property have done a really good job! The house is clean, tidy and smart. A real country cottage. The local attractions are Bridlington and Scarborough, both of which have amazing beaches. York is not far either. The hot tub is very spacious, and is great fun. This is a very peaceful, lovely cottage, and is perfect for a romantic break. I would recommend staying at the cottage.

The Cottage was very well equipped, clean and very nicely decorated. We found it a surprisingly warm cottage and very comfortable. The owners had thought of everything we could have needed and more in the living room cupboard there was a good selection of dvd's and children's games and toys as well as a drawer that seemed to have more local tourist information that the local tourist information office. The cottage is in a great location on the edge of the village overlooking fields a short drive away from both Bridlington and Driffield. we would definitely visit again.
