Location Details
Tywardreath is a village in Cornwall, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes and rugged coastline which inspired the literature of Daphne du Maurier. In fact, the village name means The House on the Strand, and it appeared in her novel of that name. The world famous Eden Project is 3 miles away, the beach at Par Sands is around a mile away, and the coastal town of Fowey is a lovely afternoon out.
Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

The property was ideal for us,its location was ideal. It was spotless throughout. It was well equipped, and has a small but well kept garden. The owners were on hand for any advice needed. Overall our stay was everything we wished for. We would highly recommend.

Jenny Wren was a very peaceful cottage in wonderful surroundings and the owners were so friendly and most welcoming. Very clean and furnished to a high standard. It is conveniently situated for the coast, many National Trust properties and the glorious gardens of Cornwall. We loved watching the sun rise and set over the hills from the kitchen window. We went to Cornwall in search of a calm and peaceful break, we certainly found it at Jenny Wren.

The owners welcomed us like old friends and made our week at Jenny Wren special. We have been to many self catering properties and Jenny Wren was the best.
Such a welcoming base everything you needed and the most comfortable bed ever.
It was such a peaceful place - the property was in a cul-de-sac and we didn't hear or see another person. The pub in the village did good food, although it was old fashioned but then most of Cornwall is that way. We were conveniently situated for the National Trust properties we wanted to visit.
The owners of the property were so friendly and helpful that it made the holiday so happy. The area was so convenient for interesting places to visit. The accommodation was out of this world, so warm, comfortable and clean.
A most enjoyable holiday, the cottage was like a home from home. A lot of thought and care has gone into the cottage to make the holiday maker feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic holiday in a fantastic property. Very child-friendly but equally as good if you went as a couple. Very well equipped to a high standard with lovely welcoming hosts and just a short stroll to the local pub. Would highly recommend to others.
