Reviews

This cottage was particularly well equipped and maintained and provided all that was needed for a lovely break - and more. Everything worked well and was of a good standard. The conservatory and garden were excellent and need a special mention.

An enjoyable stay in a beautiful cottage, set in a great location, the cottage has all you could want, space, comfort, great surroundings. Would stay here again. Very clean and well looked after, didnt want for anything realy. There was only one tray to use for the oven and found that a bit of pain, if wanted to cook more than one item at a time. My partner and i stayed for 2 weeks and was most enjoyable, i would like to state for families if they stay and have young children, over 2 weeks we had 6 large spiders in the lounge and dinning area, we got rid of them, but might upset young children, apart from that the stay was one of the best we had on angelsey over the last 8 years.

This was our third visit to this cottage, it is spacious and spotlessly clean, with two en-suite bedrooms. A beautiful conservatory and well kept garden, a perfect holiday home. It was situated in a quiet location, but not too far from local attractions.

Rated by Mrs Millard reviewed on 14th June 2015

A really lovely bungalow, in a quiet cul de sac, no light pollution so a good nights sleep guaranteed, bed feels like a Memory Foam one, so not to everyone's taste unless you're used to it, also with laminate floors throughout we found it a bit slippery underfoot especially the area from the hallway into the front room. Spotlessly clean throughout, very warm and cosy and having the two 'en suites' was a real luxury and so very useful. The conservatory was brilliant and lovely to just sit and admire the distant hills of North Wales. Can thoroughly recommend this holiday rental to anyone, we would definitely book it again when we return to Anglesey at some time in the future.

This was our 3rd visit, it is always an enjoyable experience.

Rated by Mr Riley reviewed on 14th December 2014

Being a November booking the bungalow was extremely warm and the heating was very simple to operate, (thermostat on the wall). Having a modern conservatory also helped to keep the warmth in. The electric fire gave out a lot of heat. The garden was large and very neat with outdoor seating for warmer weather. The bungalow was located close to the A55 and A5 so easy access to all of the Island and there was a Co-op in LlanfairPG and a Tesco in Bangor. I have just booked our third holiday with Sykes Cottages and I should also like to add how efficient the Operators are when you telephone to book your holiday or have an enquiry. It is a pleasure to do business with you.

Rated by Mr Plant reviewed on 29th June 2014

The cottage was very clean and comfortable, a spacious lounge, a beautiful conservatory, makes this a perfect place to spend a holiday. We will be booking again next year, as we simply love this place.

Rated by Mrs Millard reviewed on 22nd June 2014

The accommodation was excellent; we particularly liked the conservatory. The location was perfect for visiting Anglesey and Snowdonia. A very peaceful and relaxing week.

Rated by Mrs Newman reviewed on 15th June 2014

This cottage was very comfortable and in a peaceful location. Ideal as a base to explore Anglesey, the Snowdonia National Park or just as somewhere to relax. There was everything at the cottage needed to have a great holiday.

Rated by Mr Williment reviewed on 8th March 2014

From start to finish, service was excellant. the cottage was well kept clean and comfortable, having en suite in both bedrooms was a bonus, as for the conservatory it has to be seen to be appreciated, which looked out onto aspacious garden.located in a good area for sight seeing.we all voted on the conservatory as the best feature, there is nothing we didn't like about this place and hope to return next year.

Rated by Mrs Millard reviewed on 24th June 2013

All aspects of the holiday and accommodation were very good. The cottage is in a very quiet location which suited us very well. It is conveniently located for visiting places both on the Isle itself and along the North Wales coast. Will recommend Sykes and this particular cottage without hesitation.

Rated by Mr Jones reviewed on 11th May 2013

The cottage was really lovely and the setting very picturesque, the conservatory had lovely views of the mountains on the mainland. The sofas in the lounge were very comfortable as were the beds. We were very lucky because we had lovely weather. Apart from one day, the rest of the week was lovely and sunny and perfect for walking.

Rated by Mrs Crookham reviewed on 4th May 2013

The cottage was very comfortable and clean and the conservertory was a lovely bonus with beautiful views of the Snowdonian mountains. The photos do not do justice to the size of the accommodation. It was just perfect.

Rated by Mr Cartwright reviewed on 26th March 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the cottage was very clean and warm, which we needed in that particular week. The position of the bungalow was very convenient and some lovely walks in the area.

Rated by Mr Benfield reviewed on 21st October 2012

Easy access for the rest of the island but nicely out of the way.

Rated by Mr Nardone reviewed on 27th July 2012

The setting of the property was great - very quiet street and easy to reach all locations. Beautiful area - Beaumaris Castle/Courthouse/Goal are ideally organised for interesting visits. One of the best holidays we have had!

Rated by Mrs Harwood reviewed on 24th July 2012

Ideal location for exploring North Wales and all of Anglesey. Peaceful and relaxing property.

Rated by Mrs Sharratt reviewed on 17th July 2012

What a great location, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, dont be put off by the address of a holiday park, its just a group of similar properties all located together, no club house thank god. The accomodation itself is in excellent condition and very spacious. 2 bedrooms both en suite one with a bath the other with a shower cubicle.Very well appointed with all the equipment you will need. The conservatory could do with some blinds as we were unable to sit in there on a sunny but cool March day.(no pleasing some people) Off road parking for at least 3 cars if you required.

Always love our stays at Bwythn Clyd.- Cannot fault this property. We sat outside in November, both at the bungalow and to have lunch at our favourite eating place- the Pilot Boat. What a bonus is that. This property has everything you need to make your stay hasslefree. We are looking forward to our next visit in May. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Rated by Mr Porter reviewed on 6th April 2010

It was a long time ago but what I do remember is that is was still a building site and we were not told that building was still in progress. WE did however enjoy our stay and the propety was top rate becuase it was new.

The service with sykes cottages has always been the best, never had a bad cottage yet after many holidays with them.llanddaniel fab is a small holiday village, the cottage itself was superb, plenty of places to visit in north wales, but the downfall was not much to see and do on anglesey island.

Rated by A FlipKey verified reviewer reviewed on 4th December 2009

If anyone is thinking of going to North Wales next year I would highly recommend cottage ref 2251 in Anglesey. It is of a very high standard and situated in a quiet part of the countryside. Ideal for touring around North Wales or just staying put and enjoying the peace and quiet. We will certainly be returning to this lovely location. Because there were four of us we were delighted to have the two bathrooms.

Rated by A FlipKey verified reviewer reviewed on 2nd December 2009

Beautiful cottage, lovely location. would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday within delightful countryside and near wonderful beaches.

Rated by Mr Gavaghan reviewed on 2nd June 2009

The location of the property was excellent. We had a very tranquil week - peace, perfect peace, to sleep each night without any noise. The conservatory was wonderful and had the sun on it all day - when it shone of course! We could not fault the property at all.

Rated by Mrs Loftus reviewed on 12th May 2009

This is a relatively new, purpose built property that was warm and comfortable with great views directly across to Snowdonia. The location, close to Britannia Bridge gives easy access to both Angelsey and Snowdonia. It is fair to say that it exceeded our expectations and we are considering a return visit in the future.

Rated by Mr Waterman reviewed on 7th May 2009

Great location for our toddler and baby. The property is within easy reach of toddler friendly attractions such as sea, zoo and Foel Farm.

Rated by Mrs Fleming reviewed on 28th April 2009

The cottage and contents were all fairly new and in excellent condition. The cottage is in a rural area alongside similar properties, and even though in a rural location it is easy to get about.

Rated by Mrs Blanchard reviewed on 24th November 2008

We enjoyed the stay very much despite the snow and rain. The cottage meant that we were warm and cosy when we returned from our days out on Angelsey and in Snowdonia.

Rated by Ms Smith reviewed on 22nd July 2008

The property is a new build yet unlike most new designs blends in extremely well with the beautiful countryside and Welsh lifestyle. It is built to a very high standard and the use of traditional materials gives the property a sense of belonging to its perfect location. It is clean, comfortable and has everything to offer to make your stay home from home.
