Everything had been thought through and provided for. It is in an excellent position by the beach and a little away from the main shops. Thanks for a lovely environment for our break!

If you want to stay in a beautiful, traditional Deal fishermans cottage where you can hear the sea, then this fits the picture perfectly. We enjoyed the local life, good market on a Saturday, fabulous local ales and great food. Very relaxing

Seashell Cottage is situated within a superb location. It is a very cosy and very comfortable cottage and felt like a real home from home. Both the owner and caretaker were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back again.

A great location, near the sea and near everything else Deal has, within walking distance. We have already looked at when this property is available again later this year.

The location and proximity to the beach, the town, pubs, bars and restaurants. I thought that the cottage was great. The welcome folder was really helpful and interesting. The contact from the owner regarding the key details was really informative. If you love beach cottages then this is perfect, a really homely place to spend a sunny weekend. I would definitely recommend and revisit.

I booked this place for my mum and dad for the week me and my family visited for the weekend. I must say, what a wonderful place to stay, what more do you need when you just open the door and you are on the beach, my kids enjoyed that very much. I must say how peaceful the setting is too. I will be booking again for my family to visit next year sometime.

Deal is a pretty little village with many extras - High Street of the year 2013! From our cottage we had everything within walking distance. The beach right in front of our doorstep!

Rated by Mr Teunissen reviewed on 3rd February 2014

The location was perfect, close to the sea and all the charm of the superbly conserved old town of Deal. A great choice of pubs and restaurants. The residents and traders go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The cottage is full of character, cosy and comfortable. Our grandchildren loved its romance and particularly the two staircases. Had the weather permitted we would have loved to make use of the courtyard. During our stay there were particularly high winds, we felt very safe in a cottage that must have weathered many storms. We hope to return again.

Loved the location and overall homely feel to the town and the cottage. My friends and I had a wonderful weekend and I'd highly recommend visits, I will be going again!

Rated by Mr Coogan reviewed on 8th October 2013

Welcoming atmosphere of the cottage with brilliant décor. Guests' every need had been catered for by the owners. We particularly liked the little courtyard behind the cottage, it was perfect for a glass of wine, or eating al fresco on a warm day. We are definitely going to return for another stay in the future. We have no complaints at all.
