This is our third visit to Beudy Bach and we've already booked to come back next year. It is a cosy, comfortable base for a winter holiday, very well equipped and with stunning views over the Menai Straits. The cottage itself is so peaceful and quiet and there are lovely walks from the door, and yet it is within easy driving reach of so many interesting places. The red squirrel who strolls up the path at 8.15 every morning is an added bonus this year!

We have just returned from a week in Beudy Bach, having loved every minute of it. (Self, partner and dog) The cottage is beautifully designed, well-equipped, immaculately clean and so peaceful and quiet. There are stunning views over the Menai Strait from the main bedroom, and in winter, you can also see the sea from the living room windows. One corner of the living room is floor to ceiling windows, so even on the darkest winter days, there is so much natural light in the property. The cottage is well-insulated with underfloor heating (even staying cosy during a met office yellow warning for wind and rain), and also has a very efficient wood burner. A brisk 10 minute walk downhill brings you to a rock & sand beach and there are many more beaches and other attractions just a short drive away. Our nervous elderly rescue dog loved staying here and settled down straight away. This was our second visit to Beudy Bach, and we loved it so much that we booked a return visit next year before we left.

Beudy Bach was like a home from home. So peaceful and quiet. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Lovely touch of a bottle of wine and Welsh cakes to greet us from the friendly owners. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage.

Forget those adult colouring books, a week here is all you need for a perfect de-stressing and mindfulness experience! Fantastic location overlooking the magnificent Menai Straits and breath-taking backdrop of the Snowdonia mountain ranges, plus an ideal spot for touring the east coast of this cracking island .....Red Wharf Bay, Moelfre and Benllech within easy reach by car and Penmon Point (definitely) and Beaumaris (just) within walking distance. Big, spacious property with a great wood-burner and decorated/kitted out to a very high standard. Really nice being on a working farmyard as this provide a backdrop of cockerel "alarm clocks" and the odd moo here and there. The owners were really hospitable and friendly too, Glyn's Mum actually showed us round the other properties and they were equally as impressive. Quite a quirky layout inside which gave it character and the large windows, together with the various veluxes, allowed plenty of natural light to flood in during the day...and the moon at night. An extra bed side lamp and perhaps a standalone lamp in the lounge are the only things that could improve it slightly but overall, a first class property in an excellent location. Highly recommended to anyone looking to stay in and tour around south east Anglesey.

The overall condition of the property and the owner was extremely helpful. Have stayed in several other cottages throughout the UK and this has been the best! The booking through Sykes was very easy and it seems the properties you represent if like Beudy Bach are of a good standard.

We had an excellent time here, so did our dog! We were right near the coast so her daily walk was down the beach! Every bit of the cottage was perfect. I would certainly book again, thank you very much!

The perfect winter escape, for two and the dog. My wife booked this place for a week in December 2014, so we could get a break away from work and some time to unwind. The owners could not be more helpful, a stunning property expertly well finished, with breath taking views from the vista windows and totally peaceful. This place is really easy to find and only 2 minutes from the Menai Estuary for long walks with breath taking views of the Welsh coast line. A 5 star recommend. We will be back.

Rated by CarlBradshaw reviewed on 12th December 2014

Liked the space and location, just a short walk to the Menai Estuary, with fantastic views from the barn windows. It was a very good base to discover the rest of the Island. One of the best self-catering holidays we have had and would strongly recommend it to others.

Very comfortable accommodation with all needs catered for and all furnishings & equipment to a high standard. The owners made me feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I felt relaxed and thoroughly refreshed at the end of the week, I would recommend and would go back. The views from the main bedroom and such a comfy bed made it hard for me to move in the morning. Splendid views and a beautiful place to walk, chill and relax. Excellent, ticks all the boxes.

The position of Beudy Bach, with views over the Menai Straights was great. The cottage, a former cowshed, has been converted and furnished to a very high standard. The owners were keen to know that we had everything we needed. Great dog walking straight from the cottage without the need to go out in the car. A lovely cosy and comfortable cottage to come back to after a day out.
