Location was excellent away from the main road and secluded. The views from the property were great with a lovely balcony to enjoy the outside. The owners were friendly and live in the adjoining property so obviously take great care of the accommodation, which was clean and warm with nice décor. We will definitely be coming back to this place because of the central location in the Peak District and it had a fantastic hot and powerful shower which is very welcome at the end of the day.

What an absolute gem! In a beautiful location and the view from the balcony and out of the skylight window was fantastic. It had everything we needed for a complete getaway holiday while being central for all our favourite walks. It was nice knowing the owner was on site if needed but she was never intrusive and that shower was amazing. 10 out of 10, gold stars all the way.

A cosy and comfortable studio apartment. Ideally situated for places of interest to visit. We also had a balcony overlooking a field of horses and sheep which was an added bonus. Perfect for couples to stay.

The Loft is a lovely place to stay, it was very comfortable, clean and peaceful, this has been our second visit and we would definitely return. There is so much to do in the area and if you like to walk it is just perfect. The decking is a lovely place to sit with a coffee or glass of wine, watch the horses, hear the church bells and relax.

This is a fantastic property situated on the owners farm/stables. The views over the fields and up towards Bradwell Edge are breathtaking.

The Loft is situated in a beautiful country location surrounded by fields with sheep and horses. The balcony is an added attraction also. Bradwell village pubs and shops are within easy walking distance. Bradwell is also centrally situated for many excellent walking routes.

A beautiful holiday studio in a lovely location. Will hopefully be going back.

The Loft was one of the best self properties we have stayed in. Studio apartment decorated and furnished to a high standard, just right for two people. It was ideally situated for exploring the area where we found the owner and people friendly and helpful. Even the weather was kind to us allowing a glass of wine in the evenings on the balcony. Hope we can get back soon.

We had a really relaxing stay at the Loft. The accommodation is a little small, but that didn't worry us at all and it is very well furnished, well equipped and in a beautiful setting - make sure you take time to have a cup of tea of the deck and say hello to the horses. The local pub (owned by the same people that own the Loft) is only a 5 minute walk away and serves some of the nicest pub food we found in the area. The cottage is in a good central location within the Peak District making it ideal for those who are looking to explore the park and do some walking. The only sort of negative was the WiFi connection which the property is advertised as having, the connection in the cottage turned to be very unreliable and incredibly slow when it did connect. This wasn't too much of an issue, as I like to be disconnected while on holiday, however it did mean that we couldn't do any online research on places that we'd seen whilst out and about.

Had a lovely short stay at the Loft all the facilities we needed and to a very high standard. Sitting on the balcony in November was a plus and the views were amazing. Very good value for money. Can recommend the Shoulder of Mutton for great bar food and service.

The Loft is spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. The view from the balcony overlooking the horses in the paddock was delightful. The Loft is also perfectly located for hiking on the main feature hills of the Peak District.

Fantastic property in a lovely setting, it was an ideal base for spending a few days around the Peak District.

Rated by Dr Huntley reviewed on 24th August 2014

This property is situated on a working farm, taking breakfast on the patio whilst watching the horses in the field was the high point of the stay and in the evening watching paragliding from the patio.

Rated by Mr Sheridan reviewed on 22nd June 2014

This is a lovely studio apartment just right for 2 people. We were impressed with the décor and furnishings, very comfortable and clean. As it is above a garage, there is a metal staircase. It is sturdy and safe - we managed fine and we have creaky knees! There is a lovely view from the balcony which is equipped with a table and chairs - ideal for sipping a drink while watching the antics of the sheep, lambs and horses. Ideal base for touring The Peak District.

Rated by Mrs McCracken reviewed on 15th June 2014

It was a superb location for a walking holiday. The Loft was in a really nice location with a balcony to sit out on in the evening overlooking fields of sheep and horses. There were walks from The Loft and a good local bus service to get you to other parts of the county. There was everything you needed in the apartment and all to a high standard, an excellent place to stay.

Rated by Mr Rose reviewed on 26th May 2014

The Loft is a hidden gem. We went to The Peak District to complete The White to Dark Peak trail, 27 miles over 3 days. Bakewell to Liton, Liton to Hathersage, Hathersage to Hope. The Loft in Bradewell was ideally situated. It was really nice to sit on the balcony watching the lambs playing.

Rated by Mr Aldridge reviewed on 11th May 2014

The studio apartment was finished to a very high standard and extremely clean. It had wonderful views looking out over the fields and was in a beautiful location.

The Loft Bradwell Stayed here from 15th to 19th Nov 2013 I would describe this place as almost perfect, nice location 5 minutes from the local pub. A pleasant hour and a half walk to Castleton. The loft itself is cosy with everything you could possibly need, one thing that's makes a big difference is the presence of a decent sized fully working TV especially at this time of year. The owner met us at the local pub car park as the loft could be difficult to find, we followed her in, she made us very welcome told us if we needed anything to knock on her door and ask, we didn't and she didn't bother us which was nice as it makes it feel truly independent. There is a small balcony outside over looking the horse field it was lovely in November and I can only imagine how nice it would be in Summer. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality pillows and quilt. There is a walk in shower cubicle in a very nicely tiled wet room, adjusting the shower was a little bit tricky but then I don't find many that aren't on my travels. We visited the local pub on the Friday night, The Shoulder of Mutton, it was a little bit noisy with a group of local youths but I must say I was impressed at how well mannered and friendly they all were. We didn't eat in the local but the meals I saw being served looked good. We did have a meal at the Old Hall Hotel in Hope that was very nice I had Steak and Ale Pie my wife had Salmon and Prawns no complaints. This was a very pleasant winter break I would highly recommend the loft to any couple young or old, just be aware though that if you are not too nimble on your feet it can only be accessed by a steel staircase outside. Wifi access would add greatly to this property's overall experience, the owner did tell us this is something she is looking into
