I have stayed in dozens of holiday lets as I have travelled up and down the country in the past few years. And, this is the best of them all. It is beautifully situated within spacious private grounds but close to the small town of Ilkley. Although close to the owners' residence the cottage is detached and privately positioned. I usually have difficulty sleeping but slept well throughout my stay in this quiet, comfortable cottage. Inside, it has everything one could reasonably ask for. It is pristinely clean and well set out. Judy, the owner, is charming and was very helpful. All in all, a first class experience.

The cottage was very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The location was idyllic, quiet and central to everywhere.

Reynard Ing Cottage is in a fantastic location and is a superb cottage, the only problem is that time goes so quick, our week flew by!

The cottage was lovely in beautiful surroundings and good views all round. It was not far to get into Ilkly or tour around the Yorkshire countryside, very peaceful but not isolated. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could possible need.

What a gem! We wanted a small cottage for just the two of us and this property turned out to be perfect. The cottage was in a beautiful condition and spotless. The views of the Moors were stunning and the grazing sheep in the nearby fields were a joy to watch. The sunrise over Ilkley was brilliant. If you want a great place to stay that is convenient to nearby towns and surrounded by stunning views then this is the place. The owners live next door, are very friendly and are to be congratulated.

A beautifully maintained warm cottage with spectacular views. It was quiet and close to Ilkley. The owner was very pleasant & helpful.

The property was very well laid out with good quality furniture and plenty of equipment.

The cottage was perfect, only sorry we did not have more time to enjoy it. Perhaps we will stay again out of season and we could make use of the log burner. Thank you for a very comfortable bed.

Fabulous location and a beautiful cottage. The Yorkshire welcome was amazing. Had a lovely break. A great place for walking touring, eating and relaxing, not forgetting cycling which Yorkshire people have taken to their hearts.

Beautiful cottage - lovely rural location yet close enough to walk into Ilkley if needed. Exceptionally clean and well equipped. Lovely external seating area. Broadband would be a useful addition.

The cottage was absolutely immaculate. The position was perfect, great views, private, easy parking and so close to countryside/towns, it was fantastic! The owner was very friendly and hospitable. For a relaxed or romantic break or walking holiday you couldn't beat it, there are walks from your doorstep, Addingham is only a ten minute walk away, Bolton Abbey is around the corner, the towns of Ilkley and Otley are well worth a visit.

The setting of the cottage was wonderful, perfect for a peaceful break. It was well equipped and spotlessly clean, probably the cleanest house we have stayed in.

The cottage is absolutely perfect for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The location is idyllic, with beautiful views of the moor and surrounding countryside. The interior of the property is of a very high standard with every need catered for. Only regret is it was too hot to use the wood-burning stove, the weather being really lovely all week!

The setting was superb; views in the evening, light on the hills..stunning. Oh so quiet and peaceful, loved it. Again the location to the places to see in the area is perfect. The weather was good as well.

The comfort of the cottage was exceptional. A really peaceful place to return to, it was a little haven.

This is a very comfortable cottage for two. The cottage is situated just around 1/4 mile from the main A65, and down a short accessible lane, yet it is quiet and surrounded by fields (and sheep) so you really do feel that you are in the countryside. The A65 takes you very easily to Skipton in one direction, and Ilkey in the other, and on to loads of places. We would certainly stay here again, and would highly recommend.

The cottage had beautiful views, surrounding well kept gardens and a good walking area. Ample heating in cold weather.

Cozy cottage with all the amenities to ensure a great relaxing stay. Great location away from hustle and bustle but close enough to good roads to get you to where you want to visit easily and quickly. Great base to visit all the best places in the Yorkshire Dales. We were so glad to stay there. I recommend getting up early, making a cup of coffee and the sitting outside watching the sun rise over Ilkley Moor. Owners really friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The heavenly cottage was the basis for a perfect week. When you are staying there, you will not depend on the weather.

This was a beautifully appointed cottage in a lovely area. We had a great week there and would consider visiting again in the future. There were lots of interesting places to visit in the area. The all round views from the cottage were stunning. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The location of the cottage was quiet with lovely views making the stay a real break from a busy life. Ilkley is a delightful town and the areas surrounding enabled some great trips, including a steam train ride and a visit to Bolton Abbey.

This was our second visit here. A lovely place to chill and enjoy - perfect!

A beautiful rural setting, quiet but close to Addingham and Ilkley for shops and places to eat. Cottage itself was immaculate, lovely and warm. Footpaths everywhere for walkers. Interesting evidence of early iron workings and burial grounds, defunct railway lines and bridges etc. Lots of places to visit nearby if you so wish.

The location is beautiful, very private, beautiful views from the cottage and great walking. The cottage was amazingly well equipped which made our stay in the winter very comfortable. The wood burner was a real treat too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Reynard's Ing. It was a delightful cottage, set in magnificent surroundings. The wood burner made this autumn stay idyllic.

Very smart cottage and lots of touches that made it feel more homely. Sunny aspect. Private. Good location for a variety of things to do. Lovely scenic outlook over the valley.

The cottage was first class, cosy and suited our needs completely. The owners were extremely welcoming and provided us with information about the area. Literature was also available in the cottage. The cottage had every implement you could wish for when cooking. We were fortunate enough to stay the last week in March when the country had very hot weather - early mini heatwave! We left the car most days and walked the Dales Way, over stiles, through the sheep and met lots of locals to chat with. Ilkley was lovely, beer cheap in Weatherspoons! We have already booked again for next year!

Property is an ideal stay for couples. Close to all amenities, close to visitor spots but really quiet for a relaxing break.

A perfect cottage for a couple to spend time away from all the noise and yet near a village or two, we'll do our best to visit again.

This cottage has been beautifully converted and stands as part of a laithe-house farmstead in a lovely valley under Rombald's Moor, just a couple of miles outside the lovely little town of Ilkley. It is perfect getaway place for a couple with everything you would possibly need. It is cosy, warm, light and very, very quiet. The area has excellent access to the southern Yorkshire Dales and to much of West Yorkshire and East Lancashire.

...in case it's unavailable when we want to go again! I thik the phrase is "compact and bijoux" which it certainly was. However everything was beautifully thought out, the owners were lovely. It's really not necessary to say anything else, it's all in the 5 star rating for all categories

Tranquil location with excellent views.

Reynard Ing Cottage is definitely one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The accommodation is cosy and comfortable, spotlessly clean and well kept, with lovely views. Loads to see and do, the cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area and further afield.

Can't beat being in your "own" cottage for a week. After a full day's sightseeing, it's great to come "home" each night. Holidaying this way lets you set your own schedule, gets you off the tourist track and into the real life of an area. Wouldn't do it any other way.

Fabulous location and stunning views. Ilkley nearby is a marvelous town and it is also very convenient for the Dales - 5*.
