Reviews

A well presented, clean and tidy holiday cottage. Set in a lovely location on the owners farm, with a sun trap of a garden, ideal for sitting to admire the view, watch the birds and animals or have a bbq. We had multi generations on an extended family holiday and cottage was warm and cosy with plenty of sitting areas so that if some of the party wanted to play a game, some needed to revise and some wanted to watch tv, all could be accommodated. Owners were friendly and helpful and even left my daughter a birthday card and cake! We had a wonderful week and would thoroughly recommend, thank you!

What a super barn conversion, there were only two of us, but we liked the space and having two double bedrooms was the point of renting this particular "cottage". The cows were a delight so were the calves. This would be lovely in June, July and say August. It was great when we were there.

Very friendly and helpful, the home-made cakes are a lovely touch. Very spacious and clean accommodation. Two excellent bathrooms, having two TV's with children was really useful. Two lounge areas is useful.

Great location to York and surrounding areas. Owner was very welcoming and at hand when needed. Accommodation was finished to a very high standard. Comfortable beds, great amenities, large spaces for entertaining, a superb stay. It made our university reunion a memory not to forget. The complimentary cake went down a treat too. Beautiful place to stay for a quiet retreat.

Our holiday was a touring holiday, but the cottage was so lovely we were tempted just to stay in and enjoy it. The best equipped holiday let I have ever stayed in. The owners are very friendly and there if you need them.

This is a great place to have a holiday stay. We particularly liked sitting on the back patio and having the cows visit in the adjoining field! The cottage is very spacious and the kitchen is super up-to-date! The owners are lovely people and made us feel at home.
