Reviews

Excellent location on the edge of the lake. Beautiful views all around and a lovely part of the world. We were greeted by Delia with such a warm welcome and shown around her lovely Cottage. My husband fished from the boat and from the shore ,and the weather couldn’t have been better for the whole week we were there. Lovely comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. There are three shops in this area and the nearest one is 8 minutes by Car. There’s a Chemist in Costello which is a bit further along on the same road ,and a garage. Lovely friendly people ,and a very helpful Man called Sean who helped me with a query about my Car outside Centra in Lettermullen. There’s a Church and lrish Colleges in the Area and lots of teenagers there to learn lrish. It’s certainly a beautiful place and we had a glorious week. Thankyou Delia and lm sure we will return.

It's not often that you arrive at a holiday rental to find that it is even better than you had imagined it to be. The lake house was truly amazing. The owner was delightful and couldn't have been more helpful both before we arrived and whilst we were on holiday. I would recommend this property very highly.

Everything from beginning to end was just so. The warm welcome of the owners was second to none and nothing was too much trouble for them. They even had the stove lit for us before we arrived fantastic touch and so thoughtful. The setting of the cottage was in my opinion a little bit of heaven, so much so I was none too happy when I had to leave. Will definitely be returning to The Lake House as soon as is possible for the peace and quiet that I found while there. Carmel 12/4/2014 Rutland, Leicestershire

The location on the lake was breathtaking and the owner was very helpful, making great effort to get in touch before the holiday and popping in during it. It really felt like a 'home from home' - warm and comfortable and a very relaxing break. Use of boat an additional treat and cottage well heated and cosy with lovely stove.

We had 2 wonderful weeks in this lovely cottage and enjoyed the location at the lake and very close to the Atlantic, the cosy atmosphere of the cottage and the friendliness of the owners. We loved sitting on the swing close to the lake early in the morning with a cup of coffee and enjoying this fantastic view over the sea.
