Reviews

I've just spent a very enjoyable week at The Studio, helped by really nice weather. Fulbourn is a very attractive village with two pubs, a village shop and a 'chippy'. It's well situated not only for exploring Cambridgeshire but also south Norfolk and north Suffolk. I will certainly return - hopefully when the roadworks on the A14 are completed !

Location was easy to access from main routes, wonderful dog walks and a village with all facilities. Cambridge was just a short drive to the centre or to one of the park and ride parks.

A fabulous place to stay, we were made to feel so welcome. I stayed there for two weeks and didn't want to leave.

I am staying here for a couple of weeks. What an amazing place. The owners are lovely nothing is too much trouble. The chocolates on arrival are a nice touch. Close to the village and Park and Ride into Cambridge. Would thoroughly recommend thus place to stay.

Brilliant location, warm and accommodating hosts; everything you needed was readily available. We really enjoyed our time there.

The studio was very well equipped and we liked that it was on a split level. It was in a great location and there were some lovely walks right on the door-step. The apartment wasn't far from the Cambridge Park and Ride so getting into the centre was easy enough, although we preferred being away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. The owners were very welcoming and we enjoying fussing their three pooches! We had a very relaxed time and were sorry we couldn't stay longer.

Very friendly owners, very flexible in accepting two well behaved dogs. Brilliant location for ramble walks through woods and totally natural fields with wild orchids and wild garlic smells as you continue. Superb quiet location in the countryside with local access to shops.

Very convenient to Cambridge and lovely setting. The owners of the studio were very friendly and helpful.

We had an enjoyable stay in the Studio. Owner David abercrombie was very friendly and helpful. Fulbourn is a pleasant village within easy reach of Cambridge. The studio was very well-equipped. The one slight drawback was the sloping ceiling upstairs, which means you have to be careful not to bang your head when walking around - but this is a minor quibble. Overall the accommodation was fine.

The Studio is a lovely rural retreat in the Fens that is very quiet but far from isolated being on the outskirts of a pretty village and close to Cambridge and Ely. The hospitality cannot be faulted with wine and chocolates on arrival and two of the friendliest dogs to greet you.The accommodation is to a high standard with lots of lovely little touches such as DVDs,games and books making it feel very homely. There was a huge folder of useful information about park and ride for example as well as local shops, restaurants and places of interest. WiFi availability was a bonus. The layout feels spacious with the open plan space upstairs and kitchen downstairs and the bathroon, though bijou, works well. It is ideal for a couple and the only downside would be that it is not suitable for people with mobility problems. The kitchen is very well equipped and the washing machine helpful after muddy walks. Our week went all too quickly and we would love to do a return visit.

The owners treated us like family, nothing was a bother, especially when the weather changed and we requested the heating to be turned up! Greetings from the family dogs each time when we left and returned each day. The thatched cottage in which the owners lived was a dream house.
