This lovely, detached cottage is set just outside the villages of Adisham and Aylesham, in rural Kent. It is situated just a couple of miles from the bustling village of Wingham and within a 20 minute drive of the historic city of Canterbury, making it an ideal holiday base. Spacious and light, the cottage offers couples and families a place to relax and unwind, with two sitting areas, one which forms part of the first floor double bedroom and has stunning views over open countryside. The main sitting area is on the ground floor and forms part of the open plan living area, along with a well-equipped fitted kitchen and dining area, so everyone can gather together and share a delicious meal. In the summer, enjoy a relaxing evening dining alfresco in the courtyard garden and share a bottle of wine straight from the wine chiller, a lovely way to end the day! Outside is a perfectly manicured lawn where, between the hours of dawn and dusk, guests can challenge each other to a fun game of croquet, or for more informal games there is a fully enclosed grassed area for everyone’s use. This was a great find for our first tour Kent! We had a wonderful week here in this beautifully appointed house in a great area. Adisham I is a nice peaceful area to put your feet up after a hard day's touring and everything you need is in the property. Within an hours drive is the White cliffs of Dover and some great walks. Chatham and the Royal Navy Historic Dockyard. Canterbury cathedral and lots of other places of interest. Matt the owner is a superb host and a font of knowledge of the local area and is always willing to help if required.
Excellent property in a quiet rural location, but close to major attractions. Walks could be found outside the front door. Well equiped and immaculately maintained inside and out by the owner who went out of his way to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. We would not hesitate to recommend or to return to this property.

This was an amazing break away and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. The cottage was beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. There is a good local store and takeaways, plus it was only a 15 minute drive into Canterbury. We would recommend and come back too!
The accommodation was fantastic and the design and open plan décor gave extensive space & light. The kitchen was totally equipped well enough to cook a roast if you were inclined! Both a breakfast bar with seating & a kitchen table provide adequate seating. Entertainment is provided with 2 flat screen TVs both with Sky & DVD. Canterbury is a 15 minute drive and is an amazing city for history, architecture & shopping! I would thoroughly recommend this property and will be rebooking myself.
The property is in a quiet location, ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Both the accommodation and the grounds are maintained to the highest standard. Lovely views from the upstairs lounge area and good country walks direct from the cottage.
We felt at home straight away and it was such a lovely comfortable holiday home.
The cottage was beautiful; comfortable and very homely - I enjoyed and loved everything.
