Reviews

Our extended family have just spent a week in this holiday rental. It is an ideal property for a large family group and or group of friends, with rooms and spaces for people to come together or keep apart as they wish. The location is perfect for either staying on site or travelling to a wide range of scenic points of interest, the coast, cities and towns, hills and valleys, places to eat and or shop. There is a swimming pool, sauna, table tennis table, tennis court, all in their own space with room to breathe. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Ther is a large games room with comfy chairs, SKY, full size snooker table, a pool table, darts, a bar, and a stage. Ideal for the late evening get togethers. The grounds are spacious, well planted, with grassed areas and wooded areas, and all securely gated. Local supermarkets and food outlets know the house well. St Asaph is a short walk away, and yet when on the property we felt we were in our own gated mansion. the owner is on hand in a non intrusive way to support with any questions or advice. For us, being able to sit together in the evening around a table made each day a special one. Different members of the family with different interests at any one time could find their space. We all really enjoyed our stay, and I would highly recommend Richmond Hall.

Richmond Hall is beautifully furnished and has a fabulous pool and games room. Perfect week away for 18 of us. Lovely owner was really helpful and at the end of the phone in case of emergences. Only criticism? Check out time of 9am was too early for us to clean it properly before leaving. We left it very tidy, but we do like to hoover and clean before we go. I'm not sure our family is normal...........

Had a fabulous weekend away with family and friends. The house has lots of space inside and out with a games room & bar area, great pool and jacuzzi and nice gardens. 6 bedrooms in the main house and 2 in the annex which worked well for our group, bedrooms are a decent size and most ensuite. Christmas decorations were up which was lovely and the dining room is perfect for a large group. However it is a bit typical of a holiday rental and could do with a deep clean and a bit of updating, bathrooms are dated and the tiles/grouting/shower screen in our room needed a good clean,The kitchen needs decent equipment and the addition of another electric oven as the range is not great for cooking for a large group, one of the electric ovens on the range was broken too. Mish mash of cutlery, plates, glasses etc just a bit random and not decent quality and the Games Room fridge didn't work well but the kitchen fridges are ample. There was no working Wifi, Julie was lovely and did come over to help but it wasn't sorted while we were there. For what it costs per night I think you just expect everything to be clean, working and in decent condition. In saying that it is still a super house for a family celebration or get-together. A bit of tlc and maintenance and it would be 5 star.

What a fabulous place. Plenty of space, wonderful pool & great party house. Youngest 4 years old & Oldest 70+. We took plenty of food, drink & party games. We had afternoon tea In the annex one day & had a lady come in to do treatments. Catherine Reed Beauty. She was wonderful can’t recommend her enough. Look forward to coming back again. Thank you.

The house is amazing - so much space - everything you need for a family get together. The pool was used constantly - night and day! The kids lived in there or the games room the whole weekend. The adults (when not supervising the pool) had plenty of space to choose from to enjoy quiet coffees, reading magazines, watching TV shows, playing board games etc. The young adults loved the annex, where they could chill out in their own space if needed. All in all a fantastic weekend in a beautiful house. Wish we could afford to return more regularly!

What a fantastic house. Took 10 Young adults with learning disabilities for the week. Amazing they all loved it. Plenty for them to do. No boredom only big smiles every day. We went to the nearby zoo and also shopping outlet. Cannot fault this beautiful hall. The owner Julie and her family were amazing and very friendly. We were lucky to also have lovely weather, but wouldn’t have been a problem if weather was bad as there was so much to do in the house. Thanks Julie we will see you again very soon xx

Me and 19 other friends stayed at Richmond Hall at the start of September, on arrival the owner Julie was so friendly and helpful with showing us around the property and giving us advice on things to do locally and places to eat, then left us to our own devices for the weekend. The property itself was brilliant, everywhere was spotless on arrival, the house had everything you needed and more (Was too big if anything) and the games room and pool area were well worth the money on their own. Would recommend the house to anyone looking for an amazing getaway, will definitely be going back!

A brilliant weekend away spent with family at this amazing hall.Julie the owner is so responsive to any queries, the place is well equipped, comfortable and set in lovely gardens. We made use of the pool with a comment from my 87 year old mum that the adults enjoyed it as much as the children! Would definitely recommend it for a family getaway. The games room was well equipped and we were able to spend precious time together.I particularly liked that we could all sit and eat together as the dining room was huge.

As soon as we drove up the long drive we know this place was going to be a bit special We met with the lovely Juile who showed us around this massive house It really is everything and more The games room was great as was the pool and sauna Previous reviews mentioned the place could do with a tidy up! well it was clean when we got there but if you wanted to find fault I’m sure you could but for us the fact it wasn’t a shown house but a homely home allowed us to relax and not worry that we would be putting a cushion out of place We had a few trips out whilst there twice to the Plough great Pub and lovely restaurant And a bust to Aberfalls Distillery Which will be well worth a visit especially once the Visitors Centre is complete some time this year We spent Xmas week here and the house was decorated with Lovely Trees in most of the main socialising rooms and also the massive dining room table was set out beautifully Thanks So much Julie your home is truly magnificent See you soon god willing Micky Pearse

On arriving you go through the gates and travel up the drive in awe of the surroundings. We met up with julie who briefly went over things. As we walked through the house the rooms were massive but needed cleaning. Cobwebs everywhere. Surely if you are paying the money we paid then they can afford to bring in a cleaning company to clean through. They have 6 hours on a friday to get this done. Beds were really comfy but again cobwebs on the ceilings. Kitchen was amazing but fridge leaked the whole week we were there. Gym missing equipment what pictures showed. Light bulbs out all over the house. Pool was good temperature and good size but was full of dead insects. They didn't come to clean until the thursday before the friday we were going and even then the insects were still visible. It would not take much to get this house back to where I think it should be for the money they are asking

Just got back from this lovely large house & will be back we hope. We stayed 17 of us for one week & had a fab time. The owner met us on arrival & was friendly & welcoming, she showed us round & then left us (although nearby if needed) We stay as a group every year & this house certainly is the biggest. The pool is lovely & big & there is a sauna, jacuzzi & gym. We used the tennis, table tennis & all the facilities in the games room. All the bedrooms upstairs are large, comfortable & en suite. The downstairs bedroom isn't en suite but there is a toilet nearby & a shower & toilet in the gym area. The annex has two bedrooms with a jack & Jill bathroom so suitable for a family. All towels are provided in the rooms & by the pool & the kitchen is well equipped with lots of crockery, glasses etc. We walked into town (15 minutes) & had good food at the plough pub & watched football in the next pub where we were made welcome. There is a chip shop & takeaways in the town so everything handy.

This is a superb house with a lovely owner. So good that I almost don’t want to tell anyone about it! Just the perfect place for a gathering of family or friends. Two bedrooms in the annex share a bathroom and one room on the ground floor uses the house bathroom, the other five rooms are all en-suite. The bar (Pub style) upstairs is a great meeting place with snooker, pool and table football. Downstairs, there are two huge lounges and a lovely formal dining room as well as a dining kitchen with a fantastic Aga. Finally, the pool and gym area are the icing on the cake! Not the cheapest house to hire, but worth every single penny. Already looking forward to a future visit!

Things we loved: It's gated with electric security gates so we felt nice and secure Loads of bathrooms all with good quality fixings and towels The pool is really big and warm too Sun loungers and seating by the pool is a nice touch so perfect for relaxing Comfortable beds and high quality linens The enclosed terrace was a lovely suntrap Things we didn't like The kitchen chairs look nice but are far too heavy for a relaxed breakfast. They were very difficult to manouver There were no usable darts so we couldn't play There is no stereo system or speakers even in the games room The tennis court floodlights did not work despite switching them on at the mains at the house The path to the tennis court is steep and given way in places. The pavilion was unkempt and no correct storage for racquets and balls. Also no comfortable seating which is a shame as its a lovely sunny spot There were no glasses in the bar area at all meaning we had to keep carting glasses from the kitchen which in a house this big is too cumbersome The kitchen cupboards could do with labelling on the inside to allow better storage of items. Everything was all over the place. This works well in other big houses we have stayed in There was no instruction book that we could find which is why we were frustrated about the tennis lights as we couldn't figure out how they worked With these improvements I would give an easy 5 stars plus The nice touches that I was pleased about is that condiments were readily available such as salt and pepper, bin bags and washing up stuff. There were also nice toiletries too. I liked that pool towels were provided as the pool is so nice we swam a lot so it was great to have spare towels. This is a great house and I would like to return one day

Beautiful house for a weekend away with 18 girls! Julie, the owner, met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour of the house and showed us how to use the oven and just a few handy tips. She was very polite and quickly left us to our devices. The house is HUGE! It looks big from the photos but it's even bigger when you get in. Plenty of space for 18 of us, nobody stepped on anybodies toes over the weekend. In fact it was so big 14 of us happily played a few game of sardines (like hide and seek but when you find the hider you hide with them) which was great fun (12 of us squeezed into the sauna waiting for the last couple to find us!!) We was very fortunate with the weather so it was lovely to sit out and enjoy the garden. It was a shame the hottub was inside however had it of been cold and raining we'd of wanted it inside. Pool was brilliant, there are a few floats that have been left behind and we bought our own too. I found my bed very comfortable and slept well, was lovely to wake up and step onto the balcony and enjoy the morning view. Family bathroom is stunning, we all fought over who was having a bath!! The entire house gives you a sample of how the other half live and you can feel like royalty for the weekend. We left once to go to The Plough on Sunday for dinner which was delicious, cocktails were also brilliant! There is plenty of towels by the pool and in the room, plenty of glasses, plates and cutlery, I think the only thing you need to bring is food and washing up liquid! Fantastic weekend, was heartbreaking to leave! Thanks for having us Julie!

Short drive to beach, good cycle paths within easy reach. Swimming pool in house made for lots if family fun.Julie the owner was very friendly and was on the end of a phone if we needed anything, which made our holiday absolutely amazing. Adults & children in our party would certainly return.

We stayed here at the end of January with a total of 16 adults, 3 children and an infant and we were not short of space! This place is amazing, there is so much to do that we only left once in a week to go for a pub lunch at the lovely plough inn nearby. The facilities are fantastic, everyone loved the pool, sauna and jacuzzi, it was difficult to get people out of there at times. The bar was brilliant, it was like having your own pub, with plenty of fridge space for beers and prosecco. The games area was lots of fun, with a pool table, snooker table, darts and foosball table there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. The dinning room was more than big enough to seat everyone and we all felt like royalty as the room is very grand and regal. Every room was tastefully decorated and had plenty storage space and each had their own en-suite except the downstairs bedroom. This wasn’t a problem though as there are two other bathrooms nearby and two separate loos in the bar area. I’ve never stayed in a place with so many bathroom facilities. The master bedroom has a balcony over looking the grounds which again is amazing. The master bathroom is huge, I would definitely recommend a shower and bath in this room! The annex was perfect for our guests who had a toddler as it has a separate kitchen with fridge and cooker etc. And even a separate driveway! The owner Julie is very nice and accommodating, she explained how to use everything on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We would love to return again in the future and would highly recommend this place to stay.......do not hesitate to book it, you will not be disappointed

What a gorgeous house. The house itself was absolutely stunning and in excellent condition. There was plenty of room for everyone (we had 18 ladies staying). The facilities are great, loved the sauna, Jacuzzi and pool. The kitchen facilities were brilliant with a huge Aga for cooking on. Having the games room upstairs was perfect for us all to get together at the same time. All the bedrooms had plenty of room in even with 4 ladies in one room. I personally stayed in the annexe where the facilities were also excellent. The local village is only 5 minutes walk away and only a further few more minutes down to the road is the local pub which served excellent food. There is a local butchers along with several local shops and the Co-op is only 10 minutes walk away. I would definitely recommend this holiday home and we will certainly be booking to go back next year for a reunion.

House was perfect for big family gathering - stylish yet comfortable and well equipped. It was even bigger than we expected so meant everyone had plenty of space. Wonderful games room and swimming pool which kept the younger family members very well occupied. Glorious part of the country - we walked in snowdonia, went to the botanic gardens and had lovely time in Conwy. (Extraordinary Elizabethan house there is well worth visiting along with castle) Lots of good pubs to stop off at too! Julie was very welcoming and helpful.

We have just returned from an amazing week at this truly outstanding house. Everything about it was perfect. The owner, Julie, was so helpful too. We really didn't want to leave and can't wait to book again. It was so grand but very homely and comfortable with so much attention to detail. Although Wales is beautiful we didn't really need to leave the house as there was so much to do for all ages with the swimming pool, hot tub, gym, sauna and games room. Thank you Richmond Hall - we will be back!!

Brilliant house! We were a family of 18, 9 adults and 9 kids. The house was perfect, to all eat together was brilliant, there's not many places you could do that! There's a huge double sitting room as well as another so if you wanted to sit in a corner and read a book you could do quite happily or all sit together in the games room. Playing pool and chatting on the sofas. The pool is brilliant, it's warm all the time and big enough you can do lengths or play. There were inflatables left so plenty to keep the kids entertained. Julie the owner could not have been more helpful. I do have to say though, it's not made particularly clear, the ground floor bedroom has no ensuite (this was a tad disappointing) so leave lights on downstairs at night otherwise the walk back is extremely dark. Also little things would have added to the experience. There were only 2 ping pong balls and they were both dud. Plus the table had seen better days. There was no washing up liquid, bin bags or cleaning materials at all (aside from old cloths and mops that we really hoped had not been used for our stay) very few pegs etc. The tennis court had a layer of moss over it and caused a couple of nasty falls so would hope this gets jet washed. There were a couple of unexpected visits from the owner and gardener which in itself is fine but as we didn't know they were there until we saw them randomly it made us a little less secure about the kids running around, we didn't know when the gate was open and the drive is blind coming up to the house. But all in all, I can't say it enough, the house is fab! Perfect for a family holiday. We all loved it and didn't want to come home.

There is so much space and we were able to have a kids lounge and a grown up lounge too. The grounds are extensive with a first rate tennis court. The property is superbly located just off the A55. Fantastic in every way!

What a great place with so much space! Had a wonderful time here for a weeks stay with 3 families. Great location for getting out and about in the car to beaches, the zoo, golf, castles all 10-15 minutes drive. The pool was a great addition meaning we could come back and entertain the kids with swimming and tennis before tea. The games room was a nice touch for when the kids were asleep and adults could meet up. Definitely would go again have tried to book but the weeks we want are gone as the property is in demand due to size and central location at a good price. Loved it and definitely recommend.

The accommodation is amazing, Julie and her family are amazing, the location in Wales is amazing. We visited Llandudno, Conwy Castle, Chester Races. Then the rest of our time was enjoying the facilities of Richmond Hall, swimming, sun bathing in the fantastic gardens, meeting in the games room every evening enjoying snooker, darts ,Karaoke, Bingo, drinks from the Bar. MAGICAL.cant wait to return in November for our Tinsel and Turkey.

We stayed in Richmond Hall for 3 nights in April. We were a party of 19 ranging from 2 mths to 61and it suited everyone's needs. The annex was ideal for my daughter, son in law and new baby or indeed for grandparents to escape too although the house is so large theres plenty of space for everyone. The games room was definitely the hub of the house great place to congregate in the evening with snooker, pool table and darts loads of comfy sofas, bar and TV. The swimming pool is exceptional with the added bonus of Jacuzzi, sauna and gym.As for the master bedroom absolute luxury.Julie the owner is lovely nothing to much trouble. The outdoor space is fantastic loads of Sun traps plus barbecue and chiminea to light when it starts to get cool. One evening we had Sue Lowry outdoor caterers to provide a buffet which we would highly recommend absolutely superb. Another evening the local Indian takeaway delivered food this too was a really good standard. A fab time was had by all and will definitely return. The coast is only 15 minute drive and St Asaph 10 min walk so perfect location.

We booked this outstanding property two years in advance for my Husband's 40th Birthday for 3 nights (10-13 March) and it certainly meet all of our expectations from the images on the internet. This house is perfect for large parties with something to celebrate with everything you could ever want from a holiday rental We spent most of our time in games room as there is plenty as space for all for snooker, dancing and drinking at the bar There is a small stage area to the side of the bar area perfect for a PA system for singing on to which we brought ourselves as one of our guests is a singer The kitchen and dinning area is very large and is more than big enough to cook in for 19 people however we decided to dine in the local pub 'The Plough Inn' which is within walking distance from the house and serves lovely food at a reasonable price The owner Julie is very friendly has thought of everything and maintained the house to an exceptional standard We'll defiantly be back for another visit

This house, if you can call it a house is very big and has a mixture of old and new in the decor. There is so much space and plenty of room to get lost but the whole place had a really nice feel about it. Most of our time here was spent in the games room/bar which became the focal point for everyone.

Stayed at Richmond Hall for 3 nights from 18th November 2016. We were met by the owner, Julie who was very helpful and showed us around this amazing house. We were celebrating my girlfriends 50th Birthday with 19 friends and family. The games room and swimming pool were faves for the whole family. All the bedrooms were fantastic with comfortable beds and we had a feather duvet which was lovely. The living areas were very luxurious and comfortable with TV's everywhere. The kitchen area was huge and had everything we needed including an arga, dishwasher, large American style fridge, laundry room, 2 toasters etc. The games room now has a pool table and full sized snooker table, small stage, comfy sofa's, TV and bar area. We had some great karaoke nights! The pool area was warm and the younger ones spent many hours playing around in the pool itself, whilst the oldies enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi. The gardens were very well maintained and we even enjoyed a game of tennis in the middle of November!! We couldn't fault anything and would recommend this lovely home to anyone. We were all sad to leave.

Had a great time. Age 12 to 82. Pool was wonderful, also table tennis but need some new cues for snooker. Kitchen could benefit from a baby burco as 18 people cannot all have a hot drink together with just the one kettle. Also some cups would be good. Remote controls need new batteries and some shower heads cleaned. Julie was very helpful and accommodating asked for heat on and she came to help. Beds and bedding is wonderful, everybody had great night sleeps. Lots of places to sit either together or find somewhere quiet. Did not want to leave but the weekend was all I dreamt it would be. Thank you for letting us use your "house".

Just returned from Richmond Hall with extended family of 19 ranging from 1 to 60 +++ We had the most relaxing holiday , the house if fabulous but also 'lived in' enough to make you feel comfortable and quickly at home..Julie can't do enough to make your stay a great experience. the pool kept everyone happy for hours we celebrated two special birthdays and felt like we were in south of France !! Everyone had plenty to do and we hardly needed to venture out.. We all had briliant sleep , bedrooms are fab ! House was spotless..Had a grocery delivery for first night but local shops, two minutes down road, had everything we needed and supermarkets close by in Rhyl or Prestatin . Zoo in Colwyn worth a look if you have young ones, plenty of places to go if want. We took advantage of us all being able to sit around a dining table together for first time in ages..didn't think we'd get used to the aga but managed with Sunday lunch, Mexican feast , BBQ etc didn't need to eat out... The house is big enough for everyone to be together ,e.g. disco in games room :) and with the space for 'alone time' when you need it. We all had a fabulous time and can't thank Julie enough..Saving up for our next visit , could have easily stayed two weeks.

Wow! The house is absolutely stunning and a perfect party venue. Recently celebrated my 30th birthday there with friends and family and honestly the house just takes your breath away. From the moment we arrived we walked around open-mouthed. It is spotlessly clean with copious amounts of clean towels and the bedding was soft, luxurious and fresh. Most of our time was spent in the very warm and large pool area and the games room with bar. The bedrooms are all fabulous and each has its own unique character. The master suite is out of this world. The kitchen is excellently equipped and once you get the hang of the Aga oven it is a dream to cook with. The owner of the property is lovely and is there if you have any problems at all; nothing seems too much trouble for her. I can't thank you enough for giving me and my family the most amazing week away and we can't wait to return. Chink chink to the wonderful Richmond Hall.

Richmond Hall was excellent. It was a fantastic sized property and facilities. The owner is very helpful and responsive and the location is great. We have all said we would love to go again.

We all had a fantastic weekend at Richmond Hall. We spent a lot of time in the games room where there was a great bar. Also the swimming pool was amazing.

We have just returned from a weekend at Richmond Hall with friends (4 couples). We have had an absolutely lovely time. The house is amazing and the games room/pool sauna a very big attraction for us all. The kitchen has everything you need and we ate in every night as the house is too nice to go out!! We did have a walk into the village which has a very nice looking chippery and other small shops! Mrs Jones was very hospitable and helpful. All in all a very enjoyable stay for all of us.

A beautiful, luxurious cottage. The family had an amazing time. The rooms were immaculate and presented beautifully. The extra touches were great and the owner was always at hand.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 14's anniversary celebration, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was amazing.

Rated by Mr King reviewed on 13th February 2016

This was a family break with 7 adults ranging from 22 to 55 and 4 children ranging from 4 months to 3.5 years. The house was amazing and even though there was only a few of us the house is well big enough for a larger party with plenty of room. We rattled around in it and all had privacy as well as time together. We spent a lot of time in the pool and the games room. Having toddlers being about to shut the doors to the bedroom and have a gate at the top of the spiral staircase meant we could let them run around in safety. We all loved it and will be going back.

We loved the fact that Richmond Hall was perfect for our celebration, with excellent facilities - a fabulous weekend.

Rated by Mrs Eadie reviewed on 12th January 2016

Wow! This house is beautiful. It is much bigger in person. So much space in each room. We were a party of 4 children and 6 adults. When we arrived we were shown around by Mrs Jones. Very welcoming. The master bedroom was stunning as were all the bedrooms in their own right. Downstairs living rooms are huge although we didn't spend much time downstairs. We mainly gathered in the games room. We had a great time on the snooker table and table tennis. Spent a lot of time in the pool 2-3 times a day. Grounds are lovely. There is a co-op down the road, fish and chips, kebab and some little cafe and sandwich shops. Asda delivered our shopping to the house. We saw a sainsbury and a morisons not far away. We will be back 5* house We have made some great family memories

The whole group loved the house and size of the property. Most of all, the swimming pool and the games room. Great layout with the games room on same level as bedrooms so we could keep an eye on the children. Plus great second stair case from games room to kitchen. Pool area had inflatables and arm bands, which was great for the kids and kept them busy. Lockable pool area brilliant so not worrying about children running around the house, very safe. Great location for shops, pubs, and takeaways, plus its right off the A55. Definitely will be returning.

We had a really wonderful time. The house is so impressive from the instant you come through the gates. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. The pictures don't really tell how big everything is. We loved the pool and spent an incredible amount of time in there as well as the pool area. There is nothing this house doesn't have. We were a group of friends with our children. Everyone of us was sad to go home.

Rated by Mrs Harper reviewed on 17th November 2015

The swimming pool was fabulous and incredibly warm; the seating area around it made it a sociable area. There was so much space that nobody felt crowded and the teenagers loved playing snooker. There are lots of lovely places to visit nearby, and the owner was very kind and helpful. We would definitely consider returning.

5*..As a family we have stayed in many properties, mostly with pools. This however was far superior than any of the other houses. You get exactly as you see from the photographs. The rooms are lovely and spacious, the beds very comfortable. We used the pool more than twice a day as have young kids. Lots of inflatables for added fun available. Plenty of towels in each room and for the pool. No need to take from home. The kitchen is fab with a huge amount of dishes and glasses. We enjoyed the outdoors facilities too. The chimenea was great for some adult quiet time in the evening. The tennis court was loved by all the family, plenty of rackets and balls too. I would highly recommend it and would even book again as such a beautiful house. Julie was always on hand to help if you needed anything and couldn't be nicer .. Fabulous holiday.

Liked staying in fantastic accommodation with so much room and so much to do.

Rated by Mr Cunnington reviewed on 4th October 2015

The kids all enjoyed the pool but personally I was disappointed in the items that were not available e.g. hair dryer, grill pan in cooker , bbq utensils, liquid soap in each bathroom. I have previously stayed in numerous propertys with a swimming pool and have never been without a hair dryrer. House was very luxuriuous but would have preferred to have the facilities it provided without all the pomp. Owners very pleasant and approachable. Kettle packed in on day of leaving told the owner and they said they knew it was playing up so why had they not sorted it out before our arrival . The weather was dreadful whol;ue we wereb there so we did have tyhe maximum use of the in door facilities and liked I said the kids thouroughly enjoyed. The children ranged from 7 months to 15 years. The older ones dids the bounce below with their mams and dads, we looked after baby, they would reccommend it 100%. There was only one key to the property available. Poor wi-fi access

Richmond Hall exceeded our expectations, it is a beautiful house, very elegant and luxurious. We were a party of 11 adult friends who found all the facilities available to make the stay special. The owners were not intrusive but on hand to answer any questions. Every one enjoyed their stay and took away many lasting and enjoyable memories.

Richmond Hall is amazing, our expectations were exceeded in all aspects of the house and facilities. We were a party of 11 adults celebrating a 65th birthday, From the swimming pool to the cocktail bar and dance floor, it truly is, a party house, Richmond Hall is a large elegant house with the definite WOW factor. The imposing dining hall with its huge dining table was the perfect setting for a black tie dinner party (this is the Downton part) Caterers, (Sue Lowry, Chester). prepared and served the most sumptuous 6 course dinner the champagne was flowing, we felt like royalty, a unique and special experience. The Hall is a credit to the owners and we feel very lucky to have experienced the quintessential English manor house. I would recommend Richmond Hall to anyone who wants something special and different

As a group of mature adults we have travelled the UK in various properties which have all been good, but Richmond Hall is the icing on the cake, as other people have stated before me as next years fully booked calendar reflects, luckily we had previously rebooked for later in the year. It truly is amazing, spacious, comfortable, luxury, we did not visit much of the surrounding area as we did not feel the need to leave Richmond Hall. It is like staying in a 5* Hotel, Julie the owner is very kind and most helpful. Roll on our next stay!! I

The house was even better than expected, we used all the facilities including the swimming pool, and the snooker table was a great hit for all the men in our party! The location was great for getting out and about, and we all agreed that we could only describe it as luxury self catering. Fabulous!

Just returned from family holiday at Richmond Hall. Can only say that the pictures which we thought looked too good to be true, do not do the house and facilities justice. The pool, tennis court, snooker table, table tennis were all well used during our trip, and plenty of room for everyone to find their own space when required . The bedrooms are all spacious, and we could find nothing to criticise about the house or grounds at all! Would we rebook? Definitely, and would without doubt recommend to anyone who is looking for a large family holiday get together in the future. Simply fabulous!!

The owners are lovely, helpful and quick to respond but never in your face. The house is amazing, with plenty of space to find solitude if needed but with big enough rooms for all to share joint activities. The swimming pool is huge. Everything you might need is there. Our ages ranged from 3-64 and we were all able to relax and enjoy ourselves. We did venture out sight seeing and the A55 is only a couple of minutes away so getting to the many beaches or beautiful Snowdonia was very very easy.

Our holiday in Richmond Hall has just come to an end and we will take with us treasured memories. From waiting for the electric gates to open to the drive upto the house, the only word coming out of anyone's mouth was WOW! The grounds are well maintained and the house (or mansion!!) clean and I initially thought we would continue to get lost! Once we had our bearings we soon made ourselves feel at home. The kids loved exploring and we had a number of games of hide and seek! The pool was beautiful and we spent alot of time in there. The only thing missing was a cd player/radio. St Aspah didn't have lots to do, but we mainly used the house as a Base. Rhyl was good for a seaside type day, there is also a Morrisons there. We had such a fantastic time here and would love to return again. Top Tips! 1) the house has plenty of towels 2) bring your own tea towels 3) there aren't many oven proof dishes 4) bring a radio for the pool area 5) the white house restaurant is fantastic 6) the plough inn is also good 7) the seaquarium in Rhyl, is Not worth the money

The house was amazing, in beautiful grounds with loads of space for fourteen of us to enjoy our holiday. The owners who live in the annexe could not do enough for us. Will definitely be returning.

We liked Everything. We have stayed in lots of different properties with similar facilities but Richmond Hall exceeds all of them, it really is excellent. The online description and photographs are good but it is even better when you are there, and we soon got to know our way around. It should be graded 5 star not 4. We were worried about it being cold but the house was really warm even though it was freezing outside. The very friendly owners make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive, and nothing is too much trouble if you need anything. It's in a nice area and the local people were very friendly too. I would highly recommend this holiday property, and would love to return again in the future.

We went as a group to stay at this wonderful house for a week, and what an experience we all had, I would be writing an essay if I was to tell you all about the house and the couple who own it. At first we thought we would need bread crumbs to find our way round, but we sorted that out quickley lol. The lay out and the decor was stunning, plenty of lounges so you could all be apart if you wanted bit a large enough lounge for us all to be in and chat. The pool was where we spent nearly all week in, either there or in the games room. We didn't feel that we had to go out we had everything we needed right there. St Asaph itself didn't really have much to do, the cathedral was beautiful and the tea room on the corner was a pleasure to visit. There's a co-op not far away where you can get all your bits and bobs from. I really can't put into words just how amazing Richmond hall is. Looking at the pictures really doesn't do it justice you need to see for yourselves. We are seriously thinking of going back again next year as we were so impressed. Thank you for letting us stay and allowing us to enjoy your wonderful home. Diane & Co xx

By far, THE best UK holiday we have ever had! I cannot possibly pick just one thing I like about this property, it is out of this world! Stunning house, views, swimming pool, games room etc. We were a group of 6 couples and had more than enough space to not get under each others feet. The swimming pool is fabulous! The games room has everything you need and we spent most of our time there. The owners have thought of absolutely everything with this property and were fabulous hosts! Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Spent three nights for my 30th, what a fabulous time! This included 5 couples and overall we all loved our stay. Missing the comfort of the beds as had the best nights sleep here. Spent the majority of our time in the games room, didn't really use sitting rooms. Had a sit down meal at the massive banquet table which was fab, and the Aga had it cooked in no time. The owners were extremely friendly and we didn't need to contact them for anything as everything was clearly explained, the grounds are beautifully kept.

We stayed here for a family celebration, the facilities were amazing and to have the whole thing, tennis court, pool, jacuzzi and sauna to ourselves was fabulous. The owner was always available to help with any queries regarding the running of the house and facilities. I would recommend this place to anyone and am currently looking to return with friends.
