Reviews

We had a lovely week at this spotlessly clean, well thought out in it's design cottage situated in the owner's garden and with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We didn't meet the owners because they were on holiday but they had the courtesy to call us before our arrival to let us know they would not be there, informing us of our point of contact should there be any problems, which there weren't. We loved hearing the sound of the steam train regularly from Bressingham Steam Museum.

Norbank cottage was a very clean, well presented property. The owners were very hospitable and everything was as it should be for an enjoyable stay. I would happily recommend this property to friends and I would be more than happy to stay there again myself. It was convenient for all the attractions of Norfolk. We were there as a couple but it would be ideal for a single person as it's not too isolated and the owners' property is adjacent to the holiday let. For such a tiny cottage the storage was plentiful and there is a lovely outside seating area.

The cottage was comfortable, very beautifully converted, spotlessly clean and well equipped. There were instructions for everything and everything worked. The family were welcoming, helpful, friendly and generous without being intrusive. The garden was lovely. I couldn't fault the property or the hosts.

It is a lovely cottage in a lovely location with exceptionally kind friendly owners who have made this small and very quaint cottage a home from home. We will definitely be going back again and strongly recommend it. It was a stones throw away from the wonderful gardens at Bressingham Gardens and there was a very nice pub down the road, it had easy access to many places to visit.

This is a small but perfectly formed cottage cleverly designed and finished to a high standard. Ideal for exploring South Norfolk and Suffolk and just a 10min car ride from Diss with a good range of shops and supermarkets.

Rated by Mr Newman reviewed on 26th May 2015

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the cottage was lovely, very cosy and comfortable. We also love the area, there is lots to see and do, with the Bressingham steam museum just up the road and well worth a visit. Would definitely return.

Norbank is a charming cottage in lovely, peaceful surroundings, yet close enough to the town of Diss. Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive. The cottage itself is a fabulous conversion of a grade 2 listed building and is immaculately kept and a credit to it's owners.

Rated by Mr Byrne-fraser reviewed on 4th May 2015

The Cottage is small but very well designed, light and modern. I have stayed here several times now, and will hopefully continue to do so. It is handy for the lovely little town of Diss and the amazing Bressingham Gardens is just down the road. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended!

Very friendly owners. We had fresh vegetables from their allotment during our stay and went home with a bag of plums they had picked for us off their tree.
