Pipistrelle Lodge, Plymtree

This cottage was immaculate with lovely views. Very quiet and peaceful. Local community shop was a surprise, well stocked with basics and more. The Blacksmiths Arms is only open in the evenings Tues to Fri, open weekends, basic food but well cooked.

An amazingly beautiful location. The owners gave us a wonderful welcome. The property is spacious, spotless, comfortable, homely and such a quiet area. Cannot reccomend this gem enough.

Quiet retreat with very friendly owners who were warm and welcoming and the cottage had everything needed for a relaxing getaway holiday.

We thought everything was perfect. We had a fantastic view from the lounge. The owners were lovely and very informative.

Friendly welcome by owners. Accommodation clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. Great bathroom with a good walk-in shower and quality towels. Beautiful countryside with lovely view from sitting room window. A lovely place to stay.

It was a nice change of scene in a lovely rural area. The accommodation was home from home. The Owners were very welcoming, and should be commended for their obvious care and attention to detail. Plenty to do within reasonable distances. The local pub landlord & landlady were extremely friendly, & the food was very good.

The cottage was excellent and located in a quiet country area, where it was peaceful and relaxing. The owners both made us feel welcome when we arrived and there was a welcome pack in the cottage. We would certainly recommend the cottage to our friends and will also go back in the future.

This holiday cottage is probably the best we have stayed in, it is excellent. The owners are outstanding, such nice people who have thought of everything in an attempt to make our stay as near perfect as possible. It is located in an ideal spot which makes visiting all locations in and around Devon such a pleasure.The tourist Board Star Grade for this property should be enhanced.

The property was immaculate throughout and all furnishings were of a high quality. The owners had provided everything you are likely to need. The view from the lounge across the garden and the fields was lovely.

Pipistrelle Lodge is one of the best equipped property's we have ever stayed at. It was comfortable with a wonderful garden and was a lovely place to stay.

A friendly welcome and everything was top quality. Lots of nice touches plus two televisions, lots of DVD's, books, puzzles, magazines and a lovely garden to sit in.

Everything about this property spoke quality.

This is the best holiday property that we have stayed in. The accommodation is well equipped, clean and has everything that you will need during your holiday, whatever the weather. There were great views from the lounge window across the meadows watching birds and squirrels visit the garden bird table whilst having breakfast. It was very relaxing, warm and with friendly hosts living adjacent to the property. Nothing was too much trouble, this property is highly recommended.

Liked everything. The cottage was excellent, the owners welcoming and it is situated exactly in the right place, 30 to 40 minutes to everywhere of interest. The view from the back window is of rolling countryside, with a bird table in front of the window, you get great pictures. One of the very best cottages we have stayed in.

This is one of the best properties we have booked for many years and can do nothing but recommend it and its owners. The property was everything we could have wanted met all expectations.

We really liked the size of Pipstrelle Lodge, it is very large for two people.

Pipistrelle Lodge is in a first class location, we could not have wished for for a nicer bungalow in which to stay, had quality fixtures and fittings. The delightful owners have thought of everything their guests might require. We have already booked the Lodge for next year.

Pipistrelle lodge can only be described as a 5 star plus cottage, beautifully furnished and equiped.
