Reviews

We were due to stay here this month but have had to cancel the booking due to Covid Restrictions on travel. Whilst we can’t review the cottage, we’d like to say how thankful we were when the host contacted us to offer a full refund in the light of the restrictions. Amazing customer service and we definitely will look to book the cottage when things settle down.

This property is, without doubt, the best holiday rental we have ever had. The location of the property is superb with great views over the hills and canal. It is within easy reach of Skipton Town centre and all shopping facilities. The en-suite shower rooms are perfect with all modern equipment and it is a very well equipped and spacious cottage in every way. The owner of the property is constantly on hand and a great personality. To sum the property up in one word, it is "Stunning"!

Perfectly situated for exploring the areas surrounding Skipton and further afield. We certainly hope to come back again to Zoey Cottage, hoping to have the same beautiful weather again.

It was great being so close to our English friends in Laycock and being able to spend so much time with them. Also going to Haworth, a delightful village to walk around. Going on the Keighley and Worth steam train. The fact that I am back in the UK, we come every year for seven weeks and if I had the money I would live here. It's a beautiful country.

An ideal location for a walking holiday with many walks directly from the cottage. The cottage was a perfect size & layout for two couples holidaying together. It had a lovely atmosphere!

The cottage was really lovely, lots of thought has gone into the needs of the guests. Had a warm and friendly welcome from the owners. A great location for all abilities and ages, there was plenty to do and see in the local area. Will definitely return.

The location of Zoey Cottage was perfect for us, I enjoyed watching the canal boats going past at the bottom of the meadow and the views across open country were spectacular. My friends and I like to cook and we found the kitchen/dining room spacious and user friendly. The large fridge freezer was very useful. The bathroom was large and roomy with an easy to operate shower, I loved the big towels. Parking was directly outside the cottage and was never overly full. The owner was always around the farm and very helpful when needed.

A nice modern property which was very comfortable, with excellent views, and very convenient for walking along the canal footpath into Skipton. Electric towel rails were on a timer which meant we always had dry towels. Also, electric heaters could be switched on any time if it was cold. A very well planned cottage with plenty of space. Would definitely recommend it.

As seasoned cottagers we ask: can they come any better than this? A beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Will recommend to all our friends.
