Reviews

Great location with outstanding views, inside the barn was very spacious with plenty of seating for all our family. The kitchens (2) had everything you needed, the owner had supplied adequate resources. The bedrooms are spacious, clean with comfortable beds. There is a large hot tub in the rear garden, great to relax and star gaze in the evening. We was invited to visit the owners working farm where we witnessed lambs and calf’s being born, and even given a lamb to hold nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely long weekend with a group of friends and 2 dogs, 10 of us, so we rented both barns. Beautifully decorated with cosy woodburning stove for Februarury evenings, great place to sit and chat with friends, plenty of room round the table, and on the sofas. Well equipped kitchens with everything we needed, and comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. Loved the hot tub after a good walk up Ingleborough, and enjoyed the view of Ingleborough from the house! Will definitely be back to this place to explore more of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales from this perfect base. Helpful and friendly owners made it all very welcoming, would definitely recommend a visit.

Our party of 10 adults and 4 children and 1 collie dog stayed in this lovely barn conversion over Christmas 2019. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was comfortable, clean, cosy and warm in a modern country farmhouse style. The owners had even decorated the property with a large Christmas tree and other stylish decorations giving it a festive feel. They also left some very much appreciated chocolates, biscuits, crackers and fizz to add to the celebrations! Any worries about cooking Christmas Dinner for 14 in an unfamiliar kitchen were unfounded. We had everything we needed to cook a huge 4 course meal. Contrary to some other visitors comments we didn't experience any problems with showers or hot water. We spent most of our time relaxing in the lounges, playing games, watching TV and using the hot-tub, so didn't really explore the countryside or amenities around., although two of the party did climb Pen-y-ghent on Christmas Eve. Everyone else made do with the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside .There was a good selection of shops in the nearby village of High Bentham, a few of which came in handy for last minute shopping, and sadly we didn't have time to try out any local pubs:( It was ideal for our dog too as the garden area was walled in. Like many of the other clients we visited the farm itself with the children. Andrew was so friendly and happy to show us all the animals and watch the cows being milked, and gave the kiddies a chance to sit on the beautifully restored old tractor called Connie! A highlight for the young ones. We all agreed it would be a lovely place to come back to in late spring or summer, when the countryside around would be at its best, and we could explore the area more. If you're thinking of booking, go ahead, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed for the weekend for my partners 40th birthday. The pictures on the site don’t really do the barn justice. Everyone had a fab time and loved the look, space etc the barn offered. We have a daughter that uses a wheelchair to get around the barn had downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms which made the weekend easier, she loved the hot tub Lovely weekend had by all

Just returned from Ingleborough Barn which we booked for my 30th birthday! We stayed for 5nights and the age range of our party was from 8 weeks old - late 30s! There were 9 adults, 4 children, 1 infant and a newborn! The barn is fabulous, lots of space, the views are breathtaking and it is kitted out with everything you need. To be honest the pictures really do not do it justice! But the icing on the cake is the owners! Andrew was just amazing - he gave the children memories they will treasure forever! They saw lambs being born, fed 1 day old lambs and calves! He was just so friendly, welcoming and really couldn't do enough even when he is so busy working! We will definitely be back!

Amazing and beautiful property. Set out if bedrooms was really good as each one has its own bathroom right next to it. Spacious well maintened and clean . Gorgeous views around about. Hot tub was fantastic and only a 2 second dash in the snow. Plenty of room so no one got on top of each other. The only problem that needs rectified is lack of kitchen equipment between the 2 kitchens and lack of fridge space. Not enough pots, pans, baking sheets and simple utensils such as wooden spoons for 2 kitchens and for 14 people. Also 2 small fridges are not enough for the size of the house especially as their is room for a large fridge too. Beautiful area, well kept clean accommodation and would return

Our family booked the barn for our surprise hen weekend and we could not have been happier!!! What a beautiful, spacious and altogether wonderful place this is to spend time away from the noise of the city! Hot tub was PERFECT and could not recommend this place enough!! It truly made our hen weekend both relaxing, fun and one to remember Kim and Helen

My mum booked this place for her 70th birthday celebrations with all the family. The conversion has been very sympathetically carried out and the barn was a lovely place to stay. Beds were comfortable, there was plenty of living space (and comfy sofas!) and the hot tub was a fun addition! A problem with the drains was very quickly sorted by the owner. Heating is controlled by several thermostats, so be sure to adjust the upstairs ones before you go to bed or you'll roast!! The only thing I'd improve on would be fridge space - two small fridges for such a large number of people wasn't really enough. An extra fridge in the spacious porch would solve the issue. All in all though we really liked this place and we'd go back.

Could not recommend this highly enough. We stayed for a week May/June 2016, it is beautifully decorated and clean, so much space for our extended family, the enclosed garden gave peace of mind for the kids, but we didn't need to worry as lane so quiet down to the farm, the kids could have been out all day with no worries. Beautiful views and so quiet, we loved it. The Owners are so accommodating and great, and we saw the milking of the cows and sheep shearing, it made the kids holiday! Hot tub for the Adults :). Also excellent wi-fi to satisfy the kids, to ensure lie in for adults!! Our dog came for the last two days and loved the garden and walks locally, Thank you x We visited Skipton, Ingleton Falls and White Scar caves all within easy reach, the scenery is unbelievable!

The accommodation was outstanding, could not fault it, thank you. We loved it, we had 5 children and six adults in our party and we all had a lovely time. The owners were the best, and thank you for showing us the sheep shearing and the milking of the cows. We did loads of things from Ingleton Falls, Skipton Castle to Windermere and Kendal. We were very lucky with the weather which just made the holiday!
