The old town is just a short walk from your cottage, and includes excellent old pubs and local restaurants, along with a well-stocked general store. The famous ruined castle, founded as a simple moat-and-bailey structure in the 12th century, is less than half a mile away, where fantastic views stretch across Wensleydale. The nearby villages of West Witton and East Witton boast award-winning gastropubs and both are well worth a visit. Explore nearby Bolton Castle, visit the famous Aysgarth Falls or take a ride on the Wensleydale Railway. This delightful cottage is ideal for a family or for a romantic break.

The attractive Wensleydale town of Middleham is renowned for its history and race horses. Reviews

Cleeve Cottage is in a great location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. We had a wonderful holiday.

I would highly recommend Cleeve Cottage. We found it spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and furnished, with a new kitchen and bathroom, and the small garden is lovely. It was great to have a parking space next to the front door. The location is a quiet residential area, conveniently located in a charming village with some shops and a castle, and easy access to the nearby Dales and Richmond.

Lovely location and cottage well appointed. Wood burning stove was a plus as a couple of evenings were chilly. Clean and comfortable.

This cottage is set in a quiet part of Middleham,it has all the necessary items and more, one would expect in a cottage for an enjoyable holiday/break.the decor is excellent as is the cleanliness. It also has a small garden which I am sure will be a big advantage in warmer times. Not to be falted.
