Just returned from a week at the beautiful Rose Cottage with our 7 children. Can’t say how lovely this place is. So well equipped with everything you could possibly want. Emyr and Anwen are so lovely and helpful if needed yet so unintrusive. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you Emyr and Anwen for having us. The Johnson Family

We loved our stay at Rose Cottage. The Cottage is beautifully presented, with all the essentials required to make your stay very relaxing and comfortable. Also, the location was ideal, being central to all the areas of North Wales that we visited. I would recommend this beautiful cottage to all visitors to North Wales.

My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely, comfortable and spacious cottage (as advertised). The owners were helpful, friendly and very thoughtful; the cottage spotless with just about everything you could need to make you feel at home and the views beautiful. It is ideally situated for enjoying the outdoor activities in the area and the journey to the popular tourist sites nearer the coast is only about an hour's drive away. You could take the faster roads but we preferred the stunning drive over and through the Clwydian range. There is also a great pub within walking distance of the pub with a good choice on the menu. The wine, tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and flowers were much appreciated keep up the good work!

Rose Cottage is in a stunning location. The owner was very welcoming, friendly and attentive and the cottage itself had everything we needed and more. If we ever plan to stay in North Wales again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Rose Cottage has been constructed (or completely renovated) quite recently and is a superb modern cottage and, although there were only 4 of us, would comfortably accommodate 8 adults. It is the best furnished and equipped cottage we have stayed in with a lovely kitchen and separate dining area, plus a smart, comfortable lounge with wood burning stove. The house has a great light and spacious feeling, everything is new, modern, fully functional and spotlessly clean. The hot-tub in the rear garden is also new and sparkling clean : its a great place to relax after a long walk and is warm enough to use whatever the weather, even in the rain ! There is also a terrace with tables and chairs in the back garden, with views over open countryside towards the hills. The owners provided lots of thoughtful extra touches including flowers and wine on the table on arrival. They went to a great deal of trouble to properly explain everything to us when we first arrived and are very clearly - and rightly - proud of Rose Cottage. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay there, especially if you are planning to explore the beautiful Clwydian Hills and Dee Valley as we did. There are a number of good walks you can do right from the front door and a short drive will take you up to the top of the hills and the Offa's Dyke long-distance path. Local pubs and a village shop are also very nearby. All in all, a perfect place to stay !

We couldn't believe that absolutely everything had been thought of. You could literally move in with just your clothes! The fire was brilliant, we were thrilled with the size of the TV and the hot tub was lush. The owners have done themselves proud.

The property was very well equipped and in a good location. The facilities inside and out were all of a high standard and good quality. The hot tub was a great hit with everyone! The owners were on hand and were very helpful without being intrusive. There was plenty of space so although there were eight adults we did not feel cramped. I would certainly recommend the property to other family members and friends.
