This spacious cottage near Mawdesley boasts a farmhouse-style kitchen with dining area, and a cosy sitting room, featuring a set of French doors from where lovely views across the open fields can be seen. There are two double bedrooms at your cottage near Southport, and the stylish bathroom has a luxurious corner bath. This cottage was comfortable and roomy. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower was very good. The facilities generally were good, and the location was excellent. Mawdesley is a beautiful area, with many lovely walks around the area, including along the canal to Burscough. We would definitely recommend it.

Wild Duck Lodge is in a beautiful setting. The hosts were wonderful and provided lots of extras that made our Christmas holiday very special.
As I am disabled the cottage was ideal, walk in shower was great. The owners couldn't have been nicer, welcomed us warmly and came out to see us off when we left. Within driving distance to various places even the Lake District.

Everything was excellent. The owner's were friendly and welcoming. The property was in an excellent location with good directions and was easy to find. It was just perfect for us and good to use as base for the area.
