We have just returned from a long weekend in this lovely cosy house which is set in the Welsh hillsides. Spacious and well equipped the house made for a very comfortable stay with incredible views and a hot tub to enjoy them from. The owners were warm and friendly and had left some lovely goodies for us and our dogs on arrival. We enjoyed some lovely walks from the house with the dogs and children who loved seeing the sheep and cows so close up! Worth the 7hour drive from Scotland for sure.

We have just returned from a wonderful long weekend away at this cottage. It was the perfect venue for our group of 9 friends celebrating two members Birthdays as well as watching Eurovision. The cottage is a really good size there was more than enough space for 9 adults and a dog. All the bedrooms are a good size and there were plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is stocked well for cooking for a large group. Tesco do home delivery service here despite the isolated location. The owners left us some eggs from their farm which were easily the best eggs I've ever tasted. The hot tub really topped off what is already a fantastic property and big enough for almost the entire group. Thanks for a great stay would recommend to all

Very recently stayed in this house for our annual 'girls weekend away' We do it every year and this was our favourite house so far. Already planning to book up for next year! House is really well kept with huge kitchen area and plenty of seating space throughout. Bedrooms are decent sizes with comfy beds and the main bathroom is HUGE! Outside is wonderful - very peaceful and no immediate neighbours. There is a working farm adjacent but it's no bother at all. Very relaxing getaway and the host was very accommodating and helpful - thank you for the eggs! WiFi works well, which is good, as most of us had no phone signal all weekend. Really happy with it overall and looking forward to next year!

Brilliant cottage in the very secluded Welsh countryside - just what we asked for! 10 of us fitted comfortably and enjoyed the excellent wood burner in chilly February. Lovely walks nearby and of course the hot tub was perfect, with nobody around for us to disturb. There is WiFi available in the house but no signal at all - a nice break from the outside world! We were provided beautiful fresh eggs by Lin on our arrival and a good stock of logs to burn. Couldn't have asked for anything more - we will be returning! Thanks Maesgwyn!

It was the most peaceful, tranquil place to stay. Very remote. The owners of the property were lovely and very helpful.

Maesgwyn was beautiful inside and out. The hot tub was a huge bonus and we liked the dog walks immediately at the rear of the property. I would recommend the property to friends and would definitely visit again.

The house was everything we hoped it would be. It was furnished to a high standard and was in an excellent location. We loved the size of the property and the open spaces. Best of all was the hot tub.

We were a group of ten ranging from 67 to 8 years. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the game room meant the youngsters could play their electronic games. The house was stunning, very well equipped and the views were amazing. A great base for country walks.
