Reviews

This barn was perfect for us. We were able to take our dog and enjoyed walking her in the beautiful surrounding countryside. We walked and cycled along the Rochdale canal enjoying lunch in Hebden Bridge. On the only day that was wet we loved staying in the barn, it's very comfortable and warm. We had a lovely week and will definitely come back!

Ash Tree Barn was so comfortable and warm. The cottage was very well equipped with everything one needed for an Autumn stay. The owners were very welcoming when we arrived. I would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone who wanted to stay here - it is a cottage to suit anyone at any time of the year. If we were wanting a holiday in the North of England again we would certainly want to stay here.

The location was beautiful, ideal for walking and site seeing in the local area. The property was comfortable and cosy with everything we could have needed. The large TV with Netflix was great to curl up in front of in the evenings. User guides for all appliances were available in the information pack. Local information about places to eat and local area was very useful as we had never been to the area before. The recommendation of the local Indian restaurant was well appreciated, beautiful food.

The cottage was the best by far of any we have stayed in. The accommodation, we couldn't fault and the view from the upstairs room was fantastic. We could sit there and look out over the hills for hours. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and made it feel like home. Their information folder was great, especially about the surrounding area and the local pubs, of which we visited all 3. For what we wanted to do it was fairly central and the walks around the surrounding valley we would definitely recommend, the views are spectacular.

Ash Tree Barn was like home from home. It was perfect, even down to the lovely smelling fabric softener. The views were great, and it was far enough away from town life for peace & quiet, but close enough to be able to grab amenities. All facilities were superbly clean & brand new, it was pure luxury. It was warm, comfortable & I cannot recommend the farm enough. We didn't want to leave.
