I booked this cottage last year to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday but Covid put paid to that however earlier this year I took a chance and rebooked it for her birthday this year - I booked restaurants and the kids got time off work - in sept I paid the final instalment and received an email telling me how much they were looking forward to us coming - at which point I booked a restaurant and paid a £60 deposit for the big family birthday meal - what a surprise when I then receive a call from the agents to say our booking had been cancelled as the owners wanted to book it out for the full week before and our booking was now causing a problem!! Charming !! I explained the situation but to no avail it was a firm no we don’t want your booking anymore !! So please don’t trust the owners as they undoubtedly will do the same to you if a better offer comes along - we did get a refund but that’s of no use when there is less than a month to go and everywhere is now booked up - my wife is distraught and we are very out of pocket - what terrible customer service. Pure greed

Stayed here with our dog, 7 adults and 5 month old baby. The cottage had everything we need and was in a lovely spot, short walk to two pubs both did food. The beach was within walking distance and also there was an estuary that was great for walking the dog and for him to go swimming. Neighbours were really friendly and so were the staff in the local shop.

Rented this cottage with the family as we had a wedding to go to. Plenty of room for everyone. Even when we had four visitors with two dogs. The cottage has everything we needed. In a great location with small shop, chip shop and post office on the door step. Half hour walk into town. Best bit was the outdoor shower.

The cottage was outstandingly resourced and great for both adults and children. We had a great holiday.

The cottage was everything we wanted; furnished to a high standard and nicely decorated with a coastal theme and yet cosy. The bedrooms were lovely and both the bathroom facilities were very good. The kitchen was very modern and having the utility room was handy too. The children loved having a good WiFi connection and access to Netflix, particularly when the weather wasn't good or for chilling after a busy day. This was the first time we've taken our dog away with us and we were really pleased we did. The village itself was lovely, the locals we spoke to were very friendly and having 3 dog and child friendly pubs all within 10 minutes walking distance was great!

A thoughtfully and well equipped house in a lovely, friendly village with great pubs and beautiful scenery. The house is very cosy and very conveniently located - near a fish and chip shop, pubs, village shop, weekly produce market and the ruined abbey.

This is a lovely cottage to stay in with family and friends. The owners have thoughtfully renovated the whole house and the village is charming and has great walks from the door. Situated in St Dogmaels it is easy to get everywhere by car, definitely hope to stay here again soon.

We absolutely loved the house and really enjoyed our stay! The house was really well equipped and we were really impressed with how few items we needed to bring. The owners have literally thought of everything to make their guests stay as easy and hassle-free as possible. The village was lovely too, with a great pub on the river, friendly neighbours/locals and the walk to the beach was beautiful. We'll definitely be back, hopefully for a longer stay and with better weather.

The Cottage has been renovated to a very high standard. The fixtures and fittings are exceptional. There was everything you could possibly need and more! The area is beautiful to explore and the locals very friendly and helpful. We shall definitely return and stay in this cottage if visiting this part of Wales again.

The cottage met all our needs in terms of space and location. The proximity to a children's playground and a beach was particularly useful. The house was extremely well appointed.

The property is very well appointed with many nice little personal touches that will appeal especially to families. The location is excellent in terms of its proximity to the shop, pubs, and the first class fish and chip shop. The village of St Dogmaels is idyllic , with its ruined Abbey, watermill and beautiful estuary. There are many splendid walks in the vicinity.

The cottage is beautifully decorated to a very high standard. Small personal touches make it feel warm and welcoming. We couldn't have wanted for more and want to go back soon!

Stayed in March with our young baby and extended family. Stunning beaches nearby and lovely walks around st dogmaels. House is extremely well equipped for families; we didn't need to bring any equipment for our 9month old as all was provided. The house itself is done up to a very high standard with very good fittings and electrical appliances which made our stay extremely relaxing and easy. We will definitely be staying again. Highly recommended.
