Very nice cottage to stay in very quiet with only the sound of the birds in the trees to wake up with. Village is very friendly and lovely too and castle was at the end of the road and your able to walk round any time. Lovely cafe on the corner too.

The cottage was great and the caretaker was lovely, this made our stay a really lovely break. Great location for trips into Somerset or Wiltshire. Lovely village and location next to Nunney Castle a real gem. Looking forward to our next visit as we would love to stay there again.

The Hermitage is very private and cosy, the owner was a very friendly, lovely lady and we had a very warm welcome. The village of Nunney is a nice village with a good tea room and pub. They both serve good food. The village also has a beautiful church and castle.

The cottage is marvellous and absolutely cute. The owner is such a nice lady who does everything to make you feel comfortable. When you are looking for a real traditional cottage in a middle aged village, you go to Nunney. We had a splendid holiday in the Hermitage.

The Hermitage is a tiny, cosy, 250 year old cottage situated near Bath. The cottage itself is very lovely and everything you need is at hand. A perfect place for a romantic or family holiday!

Nice cottage, super sweet caretaker and super surroundings.

Cosy cottage - the log burning stove was delightful during the very miserable weather we had at the time. This cottage is better equipped than our home! The castle just up the street is a wonderful old ruin and the whole village is quintessentially what you would expect from an English village largely unspoilt by time.

The cottage was very cute, warm and authentically furnished. The kitchen was superbly stocked. The care taker is a treasure!

We loved the Hermitageand stayed an extra day. The caretaker was wonderful. She had put provisions in the fridge and was very helpful with directions. The views were very nice. The only place we stayed with a castle down the street which we thought of as our own. Appliances were fine. Garden was delightful. It is a place we would love to return to.

A quiet area surrounded by lots of history. A beautiful place for us to relax as a family and adventure out around the surrounding villages. The children enjoyed their time playing in the castle which was only seconds away from the cottage. They even ventured there during the night time also! We had a lovely holiday and would love to go back again.
