This was the best cottage by far that we have stayed in. There was a very good library of books of local interest walks in cottage.

We liked the total comfort provided during our stay in the cottage, the friendly greeting by the owner on our arrival and our every need was catered for. Location is convenient for visiting all places of interest.

There is nothing I could find to be negative about Rose Cottage, I'd go as far as to say perfect. The location is lovely and quiet and handy for walks and towns alike. I have never been so able to relax as I did in this cottage. There is nothing you could want which hasn't been thought of and provided. Interior design was stunning and right up our street! Could quite happily move in tomorrow. Only reason not to rave forever about this cottage is that people will book it and I cannot go back as often as I'd like!

We felt this was the best holiday cottage we have visited to date. The owners had paid great attention to detail. It was a long drive to Derbyshire but was well worth the effort given the high standard of accommodation and so much to see and do in the area. We will definitely be back to Rose Cottage.

Fabulous cottage, a home from home. Would definitely recommend.

A beautifully decorated and appointed cottage. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. We would recommend this beautiful cottage.

Rated by Mrs Leighton reviewed on 31st August 2015

Staying at Rose Cottage was a delight. The furnishings and décor were beautiful, high end and very comfortable. The garden was in full bloom and relaxing to be in. The seating on the back terrace was a real bonus. The area is very quiet and peaceful but, equally, there is plenty to do there if you so choose.
