Reviews

Great location but the whole place needs a good tidy up. Its like a building site. If this had been an overseas package holiday i would have rung the rep. The gardens are full of items strewn all over. The bins were put out on Monday and werent returned till Thursday despite two requests so the pedal bin in the kitchen was full in temperatures of 30+. The cupboard had a loaf of bread in which was 13 days past its sell by date, obviously not cleaned out after previous guests left. Washing machine was on the blink and we had to move it through the cycles manually. Stunning location but overpriced as the place felt scruffy and uncared for. We also had the misfortune of having a miserable neighbour who, when my wife went for a swim stated she couldnt expect to have a peaceful swim as she was there with her young children. The pool itself looked uncared for and was dirty around the edges. Most of information leaflets were years out of date so we replaced them with the 2018 editions. Nobody asked if we were okay or needed anything. Would definitely stay in the area again but not here. Rang the agents who contacted the owners who like the dustbins weren't in any rush to return! They said we should have brought these things to their attention whilst on holiday. I went on holiday to relax not do an audit! The place has massive potential but should stop taking bookings whilst it resembles Benidorm in the 1970's

Fantastic stay! Our hosts were so welcoming, going the extra mile when they heard our daughter was getting married. The accommodation was everything we needed and all the English countryside promised. Beautiful setting! Thank you so much!!

Very comfortable stay everthing we needed and the pool was a big bonus. The owners were very friendly without bothering us at all during our stay, they left us a lovely welcome tray which included chocolates (very nice touch) if we ever visit Warwickshire again we would certainly stay at finwood cottage

The owners were very helpful. It is a beautifully converted building with everything you could possibly require and the use of their swimming pool was the icing on the cake!

A lovely setting for a break back in my birth county. It was ideal for reaching many places and attractions. The owners were friendly and welcoming and the facilities were excellent. Will most probably return and recommended it to family.

It was the perfect place for us to relax after a busy day. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and I would highly recommend this accommodation if you are looking for a relaxing break.

The cottage was ideally situated for visiting Stratford on Avon, Warwick, Birmingham, Coventry and various National Trust properties. There were a number of other places we didn't have time to visit. Had we visited in the summer there were canal walks close by. If we were visiting the area again, we would definitely consider staying in the cottage.
