Location Details

The small and pretty village of Brayton is an ancient parish, dating back to Saxon times and mentioned in the Domesday Book. There is a selection of local shops, a butcher and a delightful village green, as well as a Norman church and a Methodist chapel dating back to the 1800s.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Reviews

We could not have wished for a better place to stay. Kath and Tony's attention to detail is excellent and we therefore wanted for nothing during our lengthy stay. The generous welcome pack was both unexpected and much appreciated. The scrupulously clean accommodation is comfortably proportioned for a 2 person stay and is close to all amenities whilst still maintaining its private and quiet location. We have no hesitation in recommending Brayton Retreat to anyone looking for accommodation in this area.
