Wee Woody is a lovely property in a fabulous part of the country suitable at any time of the year.

Cottingham 1.6 miles. This charming, eco-friendly bungalow, lies within the grounds of Skidby Lakes Golf Course, close to Cottingham. The cottage is bronze awarded by the Green Tourism and is perfect for couples wanting a romantic break in a unique location. With an open-plan living area, it has been beautifully furnished, with great attention to detail, providing an interesting and good quality holiday home. There is a bright and modern kitchen with a breakfast bar and a comfortable leather sofa to relax on whilst making the most of your fair trade and organic complimentary welcome pack. The contemporary bathroom has a large walk-in shower and benefits from biodegradable toiletries and cleaning products, while the attractive double bedroom offers high grade bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. With the added luxury of underfloor heating, this rather special property cannot fail to please the most discerning guest. Outside, there is a small and private patio garden, affording time to take in the morning air, whilst planning the day's events. For golfers, there is the added benefit of a one minute walk to the first tee and subsidized concessionary fees. For you horse lovers, the owners offer stables, paddocks and a horse walker for you to use with a prior arrangement. Lying on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, the cottage is four miles to the south of the historic market town of Beverley with its racecourse and magnificent minster, as well as a theatre and cinema. Take a wander down the affluent cobbled market square and choose from one of the many trendy bistros and restaurants. Dogs will enjoy a scout round on the open common land of Westwood, where cattle roam free. York is an easy drive and will fill your day with its Roman Walls, Jorvic Viking Centre and the National Railway Museum, whilst the East Riding coastal resorts of Bridlington and Filey are within easy reach. For nature lovers, RSPB reserves at Bempton and Flamborough, along with North Cave Wetlands are nearby. A little further afield is the city of Hull, the UK City of Culture 2017, with its theatre, cinema, museums, shops and restaurants, as well as the nationally renowned submarium, The Deep, which would be a great day out for everyone. Wee Woody is a lovely property for a memorable holiday at any time of the year. Cottingham Parks Golf & Leisure Club have agreed to let guests staying at this property use the facilities of the leisure club subject to a charge payable at the Club and proof that they are staying at one of the properties ie confirmation from Sykes, Cottingham Parks is a private members club and the facilities include; Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Hot Tub, Gym, Cafe Bar and Bar. The Golf course is also available at a seperate charge. Cottingham Parks Golf & Leisure Club is situated aprox 400 meters from the properties then down a quiet scenic driveway. Cottingham is within easy reach of the pretty coastal resorts of Hornsea, Bridlington and Filey, and is an hour's drive from York. The shops, restaurants, theatre, cinema and museums of Kingston upon Hull are easily accessed from Cottingham, including The Deep, the nationally renowned ‘submarium’.
