Bodfan Peniel is an end-terrace cottage in the village of Llanerchymedd just seven miles from Moelfre. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom with en-suite shower, one twin and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove together with a separate sitting room. Outside is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue. Situated in the heart of Llanerchymedd, Bodfan Peniel is a lovely family holiday cottage all year round. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Note: The garden is not enclosed. This outstanding end-terrace cottage is located at the end of a short, quiet lane in the small hamlet of Peniel, just a 10 minute walk from the central Anglesey village of Llanerchymedd. Situated just three miles from the popular beauty spot of Llyn Alaw reservoir, this delightful Welsh cottage has been lovingly renovated and extended to provide the perfect base for exploring all the coastline of Anglesey. Guests enter into a charming open plan living area, with welcoming dining area for family meals right next to the well-equipped and modern kitchen and a cosy snug seating area around an atmospheric woodburner. Two internal steps lead up to a spacious utility room and ground floor bathroom with stylish freestanding bath and corner quadrant shower, with a door leading through into a superb main sitting room with comfy seating, along with oak flooring, gabled ceiling and patio doors looking out onto the enclosed lawned garden. Upstairs there are two pretty bedrooms, one styled with twin beds, and also a double bedroom which enjoys views towards Snowdonia from its dormer windows and has an en-suite shower room. Wander into the garden where you can sit and relax, dining alfresco using the barbecue or enjoying a relaxing drink and gazing over the fields, though you may find the occasional chicken roaming through the garden to join you. The inland village of Llanerchymedd offers all you would expect from a thriving village with a pub, cafe, mini-market, take-away, laundrette and regular bus service, whilst the coast can be reached within 15 minutes, with Benllech on the east coast or Rhosneigr on the south side of the island. With many good walks and cycle routes close by, this lovely cottage has something for everyone.
The former market town of Llanerchymedd, is located in the heart of picturesque Anglesey, providing a gateway to the superb beaches around the coastline. Llanerchymedd was once home to a thriving cobblersÂ’ industry with over 250 shoemakers in the town and numerous corn mills to provide food for the cobblers and also to supply the traders at the market. The village now offers a smaller community feeling, with a village pub serving good food, a small village shop, chip shop and launderette, which should provide for most of your daily needs.

A really modern and clean, lovely house.
We loved the cottage and the location was fantastic, not only for getting about to different areas of Anglesey but it was very peaceful. The owners are very friendly. The cottage was extremely clean and well maintained, we couldn't have hoped for a nicer place to stay. We will be going back to this cottage and would certainly recommend it to friends.
So impressed with Bodfan Peniel, I have very high standards and really go over board on cleanliness but this property was immaculate. It has been recently refurbished to a high standard.The owner was welcoming & friendly. The location of the property is great for anyone looking to travel around sightseeing. It is so peacefully as situated at the end of a lane. So glad to have found this gem & will definitely be returning!
Bodfan Peniel is a very well furnished and equipped cottage. We found the cottage a good base for exploring the lovely countryside and coastline in Anglesey.
It was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and very comfortable, can't fault the accommodation in any way at all. The owners were very friendly without being over the top, would definitely recommend this cottage.
This cottage is immaculate; beautifully furnished and decorated with loads of space and it was very comfortable. We couldn't have asked for anything else. The view of Snowdon out of the window was an added bonus! We would recommend this cottage to anyone.
Fantastic cottage which had been newly renovated to a very high standard. Every detail had been thought of which made our stay perfect. The lovely owners lived close by and went out of their way to welcome us and give details on places around the island of interest. Excellent property and ideal location for touring the island.
Bodfan Peniel is a first class holiday cottage - beautifully and tastefully decorated. It was very comfortable and cosy. The owners could not have been more helpful and I would recommend this cottage without hesitation. It was very quiet which is just what I wanted.
