Location Details

Beaufort is a small village situated in a scenic area at the foot of the Macgillycuddy Reeks near the Gap of Dunloe. This is a great location for walking with stunning mountain views. The village has shops, pubs and restaurants, and is situated between Killorglin and Killarney, the latter being a mecca for holidaymakers every year with its wide open countryside, beaches close at hand, annual festivals and great night life, with traditional music played in many of the pubs and bars. A host of activities are available in the area including riding, walking, cycling, golf and fishing, and guided ascents to summit of Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest mountain.

County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas.

Reviews

We loved the cosiness of the cottage. We enjoyed quiet morning walks as the area had stunning views.

My son and I had the most amazing spectacular vacation at the Bridgeview I could ever imagine. I have been to Ireland before and never had such a wonderful experience. The owners made sure that our vacation was a one-of-a-kind; they were very attentive to all of our needs and went out of their way for our comfort and enjoyment. I will definitely recommend this house to all of my friends and family and we are looking forward to returning there in the future. We have been on many vacations and can say, we have never had the experience that we did while staying at their property it was one that leaves a beautiful memory for a lifetime. It was everything that the website showed and more The view was absolutely breathtaking as well as the house itself. I would give that property the highest rating possible. I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone looking for the vacation of a lifetime.

We spent a very pleasant week at Bridge View. The owners were very welcoming. The house was very warm and very pleasant, with a mezzanine over the lounge, warmed by the stove. There are many possible activities nearby and just a little farther is the Ring of Kerry. I recommend this cottage without hesitation.
