What a lovely stay we had this last week in the "perfectly placed for a pandemic" Mill Cottage. Thank you to Mike and Belinda for the very warm welcome. Thank you to Mike for helping with the hot tub and changing the gorgeous spring water, and thank you to Belinda for introducing us to Bella, the latest addition to the farm and for having the most infectious laugh. What a perfect breakaway from, "nearly time for a 2nd lockdown" life! The whole set up is perfect with Mike and Belinda on hand should assistance be needed yet there was no intrusion. My OH enjoyed setting The accommodation was on 3 floors and cleaned to a very decent standard. Towels were fluffy. House was warm. The welcome hamper was lovely, 4 farm fresh eggs, flapjacks, muesli and some lovely slices of homemade lemon drizzle cake. There was a small bottle of milk in the fridge and t-bags and coffee in the canisters which really helped on that first evening and thereafter. Altogether a lovely break and we hope to stay again at some point in the not too distant future.

Just had a week in this amazing little place with my 2 dogs and my partner. We had our own fuel hot tub which was fab, sat out in the night looking at the stars whilst boiling yourself in the tub. There were lovely walks within the grounds with fields, woods and stream. The dogs loved it. The owners lived in the house on the other side of the bridge. Very friendly and very helpful if you needed them. We arrived to a lovely hamper including home made cake, jam and a bottle of apple juice. The nicest apple juice ever! At night, there are no lights so it is pitch black which meant for amazing sleeps. I could even hear one of the dogs snoring from the room below. The sound of the waterfall at the side of the cottage is very relaxing. If you want peace and tranquility, then this is the place for you. Don't miss out, it is fabulous.

The property was stunning and Michael and Belinda were incredible hosts always there when you needed them but never interfering with your privacy or stay. My wife and i loved the walks around the estate and the whole experience was beautiful. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable get away from it all break. Karl and Julia Barker xxxxxx we will be going back later in the year to enjoy the property in the summer

The cottage is stunning from the furnishings to the setting. It has a waterfall and stream in the garden and a fabulous wood fired hot tub which the owners set up for our arrival and then we lit when we returned from a days exploring, a fantastic way to relax with a glass of wine. The bed was extremely comfortable and due the rural setting it is pitch black at night with no light pollution so we slept very well. The bedroom and bathroom are very spacious whilst the living area is lovely and cosy but has all the facilities needed. The welcome pack had some lovely local produce and handmade biscuits for our dogs. We visited Ludlow, which is beautiful and definitely a rely worth a day out. Witley Court and gardens is a derelict stately home which is under the care of English Heritage and very interesting and Croft Castle which is maintained by the National Trust also worth visiting.

Amazing location, beautiful clean cottage furnished to the highest standard. Owners have thought of absolutely everything down to doggie towel and home made treats. Best cottage we have had pleasure to stay in in 17 years. Turn off the computer and phones, get some good food and wine and simply relax. 5 Star without a doubt!

We spent a lovely romantic weekend here. We left our four children behind and just took our dog. The location is great with some fantastic walks on your door step. The hosts had left a welcome basket which was a nice touch, and the hot tub was ready to go. We spent many hours each night in the hot tub and had a really relaxing time. There are some nice places to eat out and local pub was great. My only criticism (and why I didn't give it five stars) is the bed is very uncomfortable. The mattress is extremely soft and my partner and I both woke regularly throughout the night with aching backs (not something we have ever suffered with before). We therefore didn't go home quite as refreshed as we had hoped we would.

Having spent many years staying in holiday lets across the country this one is up there with the best. Stunning location, immaculately presented, spotlessly clean. Belinda and Mike are charming helpful hosts. The welcome hamper of delicious home-made produce was the icing on the cake. Dog friendly.

This truly is a gem of a cottage. Having stayed in many cottages, we were impressed by the attention to detail that the owners have put in. Luxurious features including a huge bathroom with slipper bath and a shower that you could fit a football team into, wood fired hot tub (you'll have tons of fun firing it up) and king size bedroom. The surrounding land and walks are beautiful and well worth exploring and the waterfall beside the cottage is just magical. We spent a week here and it was a welcome, relaxing break from our busy lifestyles - I've never seen hubby sleep so much, you just can't help it surrounded by peace and tranquility. The welcome basket provided is just amazing..fresh local produce including, apple juice, cake, fresh baked bread, eggs and even hand crafted dog treats, which brings me to another point, this place is extremely dog friendly even providing a dog towel and poop bags (although we did take our own). On three floors, the inside of the cottage is refurbished to a high standard and includes everything you need for a comfortable stay including a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. I have to commend Belinda and Mike (the owners) on their friendliness and approach-ability...nothing was too much trouble but they left us alone for all of our stay unless we needed them. An absolutely amazing place that we would highly recommend. We would definitely book this cottage again, without a doubt. You have to see it to believe it!!!

The last thing we wanted to do was go away for our 2 week honeymoon directly after the wedding. So instead we stayed 4 nights here to relax in late November. We brought our puppy along for 2 days. What a lovely place, we arrived in the dark a little late after a day’s rain to a warm hot tub (£8 fee for this) this place was just what we needed. The hot tub is manually stoked which although means you have to be around but this adds to the adventure. We enjoyed the fresh bread and fizz & Cake, the dog enjoyed the home made dog treats from the owners and they had gone the extra mile with a candle with wedding figures on the side of it. We hope to return in a year. If you book this place be prepared for no mobile phone signal (on 02 anyway) and slow internet (Not a problem) and unfortunately in our case not a stable internet connection but this would be my only area I would suggest for future improvement in what is a fantastic holiday cottage.

This Mill is perfect for a romantic getaway. After staying in a caravan in Cornwall for the weekend cramped in with the family, we could not wait till we got to the mill and my god it didn't disappoint! As soon as you turn the corner and get first glance of the mill it looks just like a fairy tale absolutely stunning. The owners leave you some bread, milk etc. which was lovely. We cannot fault in the slightest, the walks are amazing (bring wellies it can get very muddy) the hot tub is delightful, I have to say though the bathroom was my fav part with the slipper bath just perfect. Everthing is done to amazing standards literally cannot fault. There is so much to do as you're not far from Worcester city centre you have the best of both worlds the city and the countryside definitely recommend Worcester cathedral, was amaing. Thank you for sharing this stunning place with us.

From the moment you view the Mill nestled in the valley you fall in love with the picturesque tranquility. The cottage is well equipped, very comfortable and well furnished. We loved our stay there and booked to return before we had left. The hot tub is great and the free- standing Victorian bath even better. We found the gentle sound of the waterfall outside our windows just charming. Mike and Belinda have created lovely, well-marked walks in the local woods. I definitely recommend this idyll to anyone seeking absolute peace and quiet. Bring good food ( there are few local shops) and good wine and enjoy.

Staying in this cottage is a must! Absolutely beautiful place to stay with incredible hot tub! Ignore the review saying it doesn't get hot....You light a fire and the water gets hotter the more wood you burn, simple! Thanks to Belinda and Mike for making us so welcome:-)

Set in a stunning location, Mill Cottage is a hidden gem. We have spent the week enjoying beautiful walks around Hanley Mill, visiting quaint little villages and making good use of the fantastic log fired hot tub! Mill cottage is extremely well presented, inside and out! Belinda and Mike are incredibly welcoming and helpful and have made our stay unforgettable, especially with all of the lovely newlywed touches! We can't wait to come back again soon and we will most defiantly be recommending it to our friends and family!

The setting of Mill Cottage is stunning, we were extremely impressed with the high quality of the cottage and fittings, the waterfall and stream right next to the property just made our weekend perfect. We made good use of the hot tub on the patio. Overall I would rate out stay A+++, we loved every minute of it.

The location was picturesque and peaceful, and the cottage was decorated to a high standard. The bathroom was relaxing and it was great to have the option of a hot tub. It was a good area for dog walking and pubs were close by. It is good for a relaxing weekend or a longer holiday, recommend this cottage for a fabulous holiday.

Mill Cottage is a perfect hideaway; so peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. All the little touches had been thought about. We loved every minute of it. The owners were great hosts and always on hand if we needed them.

The cottage is beautiful and a very peaceful location. Very remote and have to drive quite a way to pubs/restaurants etc. The décor is also brand new so very modern and received gifts on arrival which was lovely. (milk/eggs/bread) However, If you are booking this on the basic that there is a 'hot tub' included, BEWARE...... The hot tub is a wood burner tub, not electric therefore we had to maintain the fire during our stay if we wanted to use it. This means, you have to stay in all day to heat the water and keep the fire going (stated when we arrived, takes up to 5 HOURS to heat the tub.) After maintaining the fire until late afternoon on the second day, we eventually gave up with the luke warm water, plus had little coal left (you have to BUY additional coal from the owners once you run out, seriously???) The living space is also very tiny, only fitting 2x very small two seater sofas. they are so uncomfortable and definitely not the place to 'relax' and watch a film. With the design they could have invested into a corner sofa meaning you can stretch out and even sit next to each other. Not even a foot stool? :( It was such a shame! Unfortunately on this basis I would not recommend this cottage to my family/friends. Sorry :(

The hosts were very friendly. The property is surrounded by wonderful countryside where our dog could roam. The setting was very tranquil but still within reach of some lovely places to visit and great local restaurants.

A beautifully furnished and excellently situated cottage in a lovely part of the country. The owners were welcoming and helpful. Mill Cottage is the perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing break. We would love to go back.

Mill Cottage is absolutely beautiful. Nestled beside the stream, the sound of falling water is soothing and adds to the calm, peace and tranquillity of the setting. We arrived feeling frazzled, within hours we felt like we'd been away for a week. The owner was a lovely host and you can sense their love for the cottage in the stunning restoration, beautiful decor and quality fixtures and fittings. We loved it and we will be going back.
