With so much space, Schoolhill Croft would ideally suit a family or group of friends who want to explore Aberdeenshire and have a superior holiday home as a base. The accommodation is over two floors with five spacious bedrooms, two with en-suites and also two sitting rooms. There are large televisions all around the house and a very special extra is the games room complete with snooker table and Wii. The garden is mostly laid to lawn and is fully enclosed providing a great and safe outdoor space for children to play. The large decked area is ideal for an early evening BBQ and visitors can simply gaze at the stunning vista. A very well equipped kitchen means that home cooking is easy with everything a chef could possibly require. However the villages of Cruden Bay, Ellon and Newburgh offer opportunities for guests to venture out for a meal with a choice of hotels and restaurants. This holiday home is perfect for families who love beaches as Collieston Beach is just a mile away and is a sheltered beach with a small harbour, and Newburgh, just 4 miles away also has a wonderful sandy beach and is home to an extensive sand dune system at the mouth of the Ythan River. For Golfers the area is simply quite rich, with the Trump International Golf Links almost on the doorstep, along with many other courses close by. The granite city of Aberdeen is within a 30 minute drive and there is so much to see and do that guests will simply run out of time. This stunning house ensures a simply wonderful holiday for all.
Ellon is some 16 miles from the City of Aberdeen and is situated on the River Ythan. It provides excellent local services with a good selection of shops, hotels and restaurants. The Riverside Park offers walkways alongside the River Ythan.

This house really is faultless. My wife booked it for my birthday and it was perfect for all of us. One beautiful beach is three minutes drive away and another six minutes. We spent loads of time in the games room. I would recommend it to my friends and family without a doubt.
We visited this holiday house this past week and I cannot even begin to explain how amazing this place is. With 6 adults and 2 children we were always hoping for enough space so we weren't on top of each other and this house certainly delivered that! With a massive garden for everyone to run around in and a games room for extra entertainment we were never stuck for things to do! On arrival we were given the grand tour and the owner Gary was extremely welcoming and gave us excellent local knowledge on things to do! The house was immaculate and it's surroundings are hard to describe as they are so beautiful! Thanks for an amazing stay and we will definitely be recommending here to everyone!
