Reviews

Situated in lovely countryside, this property is probably more suited to a younger crowd. The property sits on a dangerous blind corner and the only safe way to exit the difficult driveway is for someone to watch out for traffic from the opposite side of the road as there is no safety mirror. Uneven and unlit steps lead to the front door. The decor is very nice but the seating was not comfortable at all - neither were the beds. Contacting the owners was very problematic. Will not be back!

What a smashing little cottage,, the house was well equipped and clean. The bed in main room was very comfortable and ensuite was spotless. The view from house front was just lovely and watching the farmer at work was relaxing. The sheep were sometimes vocal at night but it didn't bother us in the slightest. The house was very local for reaching local village Llanwrist and we found a lovely walk along the path to suspension bridge. There had been anew patio area laid which was pretty for sitting in sun with a glass of wine, however the sun was away by five thirty because of surrounding trees. The driveway could be tricky but we managed fine with precautions. Overall a really nice property. Only one small thing, nowhere to hang out washing, but a clothing airer is provided. Very happy to return to this property

This is a gorgeous cottage – its lovely and clean, comfortable, very well appointed and beautifully decorated. Its in a fantastic location, with great views from all the rooms, and its perfectly situated to visit seaside resorts, lots of local attractions and the mountains. We ate mostly in the cottage, as there is a great kitchen/diner (and you can have a fire, which was fab), but its also very convenient to walk into the village of Trefiw, and we did have a very good meal in the pub there. I would highly recommend staying here.

This cottage is a lovely place to stay! It really is beautiful! The owners of this cottage have made a real effort to give you an idea of the local towns and attractions, by listing nearby places and attraction with a brief description. This is much easier than looking everything up online. All the furnishings are lovely, and all the appliances and cooking utensils you will need are provided. The TV is a smart TV and the wifi is very good. The beds and sofas are very comfortable (especially the sofas!!! SOOO COMFY!!!!). The location is fantastic!! We had a very action packed holiday (climbed Snowdon, go below ultimate extreme, zip world titan and bounce below, Aber falls) and all the things we wanted to do were a half an hour drive or less. The only negative is the driveway is hard to manoeuvre, but this is mentioned on the website and so was expected. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Wales, we have honestly had the best holiday ever! The cottage really is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. Wales truly is a magnificent place full of stunning and breath taking places to visit and fun and exhilarating things to do. We plan on coming back next year! What an incredible holiday!!!
