A lovely break away in a lovely village. The Grannary is a stunning cottage. The cottage itself is a very comfortable and immaculate home from home. Loved the garden room and the beautiful garden.. Hope to stay again.

I've stopped in quite a few cottages but this Is my new favourite. The location is in the small village of Appleton le Moors just inside the North Yorkshire Moors which is idyllic. The view from the conservatory is breathtaking. There's the pretty patio area which would be fantastic to sit out in some warmer weather. This then over looks the gorgeous gardens which then overlook miles of countryside. The cottage itself is finished to a very high standard. It's reasonably spacious and the conservatory is a delightful room to sit in and enjoy the views. It's well equipped and the different heating options help to keep the place at a nice temperature. There's a country pub a few doors down offering tasty home cooked food and probably local beers. The village has a remote feel to it and sheep have the right to wander hence the properties here are gated. It is however only a short drive to towns like Pickering and Kirbymoorside with plenty of shops, cafes etc. I would definitely stay here again and recommend.
