Reviews

A spotlessly clean, very well equipped cosy cottage that has everything you need to make it feel just like home. A gentle 5 minute stroll over the main bridge into the centre of Upton with plenty of choice of places to eat & drink as well as Co-op & Spar shops. The owners are amazing people and nothing is ever too much trouble. The place has a feeling of calm about it and there is nothing nicer than sitting by the river watching the world go by then finishing the evening in front of one of the two the log burners. Looking forward to going back for our 3rd stay next month!

We stayed here for the 2nd time, having loved it last Easter 2019. The cottage was very well placed for sightseeing of the big cathedral cities nearby but also for the beautiful Malvern hills/2/ The cottage is extremely well equipped; particularly in the kitchen where there are numerous little extras like a slow cooker, clingfilm and condiments like oil. The main bedroom looks out directly onto the garden which leads down to the river Severn. We even had a flock of geese regularly wander in in the morning - it was lovely to sit in bed with a cup of tea, watching the river. Good reliable wifi and channels on tv and freeplay ample for us. Instructions and procedures relating to covid19 were clear and reassuring and communications with the owner were pleasant and helpful. would most certainly return again if we wanted to return to the area.

We had a wonderful time in this cottage. It was well furnished and very clean, providing a great place to explore the beautiful towns, villages and hills of Worcestershire. We enjoyed the front garden and riverside view. We loved watching the Canada geese and the gentle flow of the river. The kitchen was superb for cooking and it was comfortable throughout. The windows offered a light and airy feel, perfect for reading. It was an amazing holiday!

Lovely, cosy well equipped cottage in a lovely setting by the river. Very comfortable - especially the beds! Nice & quiet. Close to Upton on Severn & surrounding places of interest around Worcester if you are looking to explore the area. The stairs are a bit steep and only 1 bedroom as an en suite so midnight visits to the loo are a bit dodgy if you are not in the room with the en suite (which is fabulous by the way) but you soon get used to going downstairs. Otherwise great place to stay and we would recommend it and stay again.
