The village of Halkyn is spread across the hills overlooking the Dee estuary, known for its walking and mountain biking, and adjoins the WatÂ’s Dyke heritage trail, as well as being an area of Special Scientific Interest, surrounded by 2000 acres of common land. Conveniently located a few miles off the main A55 road, this pretty village is ideal for discovering the North Wales coast, Snowdonia National Park and Anglesey and, being a short distance from the English border, you have the Roman city of Chester with its famous walls, amphitheatre and historic rows .
