Front enclosed lawn garden with river view with garden bench. Strictly only one well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking allowed. Shop and pub 5 min off road, riverside walk. Note: Check in is 5pm onwards.
Location Details
Exford is situated in the heart of the Exmoor National Park, close to Minehead and Barnstaple. Within this village you will find a village green, tea rooms, a shop, Post Office and two traditional inns serving food. For walks, you will find waymarked paths down the Exe and River Barle valleys, as well as Dunkery Beacon, the highest point on Exmoor. The coastal towns of Lynmouth, Porlock and Minehead are also a short drive away.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

The property is nice and in a rural location. However I would book very cautiously! They welcome children and dogs to the property, unfortunately we created a mark on the cream carpet in the bedroom. We did our best to ensure we cleaned this and hoped once dried it would be completely gone. No conversation had, within days we had an invoice of £1000 for a complete new carpet!! If we had been charged for a professional carpet cleaner that would have been fair, but an entire carpet! Bad communication Not friendly Do not book.
