Magnolia Cottage is a delightful property dating back to the 19th century, and is set amidst beautiful rolling countryside in the pretty village of Barton near Richmond in the Yorkshire Dales. The attention to detail throughout is evident, from an original range cooker now used for decoration only, to thoughtful touches in every room. The well-equipped kitchen with dining area is a light and spacious room, a magnet for guests to mingle before dinner. The cosy sitting room is an oasis whatever the time of year, and for those chillier nights the comforting glow of the multi-fuel stove is really addictive. There are two charming bedrooms offering every comfort including en-suite shower rooms. Richmond, just over 7 miles away, is one of the many jewels in Yorkshire's crown and is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. This inspiring town is complete with a Norman castle, cobbled market place, superb architecture and a great range of shops and tea rooms to choose from. The magnificent Bowes Museum offers a fantastic day out for everyone and the fascinating musical automaton, The Silver Swan is a much loved icon of the museum.
