The Willows is an all ground floor cottage outside the village of Bagley Marsh near Oswestry. The cottage sleeps 14 people in 7 bedrooms with an en suite facilities which are seven king-size doubles (zip/link, can be twins on request). There is also a bathroom and a shower room with a separate cloakroom. The main accommodation consists of an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area and a conservatory. Outside there is ample off road parking, a lawned garden with a patio and an indoor heated swimming pool. The Willows is ideal at any time of the year.

Indoor heated swimming pool (approx 8m x 6m x 1.4m). Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3 miles. Note: This property has a 4pm arrival. Note: this property does not accept stag/hen parties or similar. Three very well-behaved pets welcome. This property is for holidays only. No worker or company bookings. Please note, there is to be no electric vehicle charging at this property.
Location Details
The small village of Cockshutt is surrounded by beautiful Shropshire countryside and has many of the features of a traditional village with a pub, village hall, primary school and a parish church. Just five miles away is the pretty market town of Ellesmere, which offers Tudor, Georgian and Victorian buildings, a lovely church and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is surrounded by its famous meres or lakes. Close by is the delightful Colemere Country Park, which when taking a scenic walk you will discover wonderful wildlife.

We stayed at The Willows in September 2018 to celebrate a family birthday. Our party size of 20 ranged from 6-75 year olds, and the house accommodates for all. The house itself is very clean and spacious, with all bedrooms having a toilet, and most having a shower. The dining area is vast, with plenty of seating to accommodate all our guests around the table. The lounge area is home to many sofas and a huge TV. But it was the outside gardens that we all enjoyed most, plenty of space to enjoy games, such as rounders, badminton, cricket etc, with a separate field containing 2 football goals, which was very popular with the children. A very nice seating / patio area with a gazebo was great for those watching the games, as the weather was kind to us. However, it was the swimming pool that the children enjoyed most. A decent enough size, packed full of inflatables. An excellent weekend was had, with all who attended very happy with the choice of property.
Returned today from what was one of the best weekends ever! This house is amazing, the place is spotless and fully equipped, couldn't fault one thing, the rooms are beautifully decorated and we had so much fun I the pool! We are looking to book again for September! Thankyou to the owners for such an amazing weekend xx
“Just returned from a great family,fun filled, post Christmas weekend at the Willows. The property, directions and key collection were great. The property was clean with lots of cleaning extras like washing powder and fabric conditioner available. The pool was good but in a rather uninviting barn where condensation was dripping from green slimy beams into the pool itself. A great outdoor space for dogs to run around and even dog towels provided which was a nice touch. Our only problem was the kitchen electric kept tripping when the oven was on as we tried to cook a meal for 15 hungry adults. Easily fixed but inconvenient! Another useful extra could be a hose pipe outside for washing muddy dogs and boots. Otherwise nice location, helpful owners and good car parking.”
Gorgeous, spacious and clean house. Lots of land and indoor heated private pool;both brilliant for entertaining kids. The people who own it are so lovely and went "an extra mile" to make it special for us as it was christmas....all beautifully decorated for the festive season and the kids bedroom looked amazing. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back xx
My Family had a lovely weekend at the willows everyone really enjoyed everything about it, Very well equipped my grandchildren had lots of fun and they would definitely love to go back there.One of the best we have stayed in.
We have just returned from The Willows after a fantastic weeks holiday. The house comfortably accommodated all 17 of us with ample car parking, garden space and room to spread out in the property. We made use of the bbq provided and the children spent at least 2 hours each day enjoying the heated pool. Washing machine and tumble drier were a lifesaver for a quick turnaround on soggy swimming costumes and towels!! Zip and link beds were brilliant for being able to customise the rooms for each group and were honestly the comfiest beds we've ever slept in away from home. Thank you for a fab week... highly recommend!!
My family and I stayed at the Willows last weekend and I would highly recommend it. The setting is idyllic and the gardens are kept beautifully.The house is really spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The pool is fantastic. Perfect temperature all the time. Our kids spent most of the weekend in there and asked if we can rent the house forever! It was the perfect place for a family gathering.
